World War Z: The Movie
First things first World War Z the movie
is not
the book.
The only thing the two have in common is the name. I truly enjoyed the book and was excited when I heard that they were going to make this into a movie. Then I heard who would be the star and I became skeptical.
Brad Pitt is a cool dude, don't get me wrong but c'mon! I was not surprised when he found a "cure" or way to deal with the plague and I was disgusted to see that the immense help that dogs brought to the survival of the human race was glossed over and presented briefly on the plane.
I wanted to see the madness and the overall destruction of the human race due our arrogance and lack of planning. However I saw Brad Pitt saving us all.......
For what the movie was, another zombie movie, it was alright; for what the movie could of been based on the book, I'm going to go with a fail.
S/N: I am from NJ and watched the movie in a movie theater a town over from Newark. So when they were in Newark it did get a little creepy in the movie theater for a second there.
