NYCC 2014: My Impressions

NYCC 2014: My Impressions

This year I was awarded a press badge and was able to go behind the scenes and see more of the inner workings of New York Comic Con. I was able to go up to the fourth floor where the Press Lounge was as well as the Press Interview rooms. I started my day doing a review of demos with Square Enix and ended with the Z-Nation Press Interviews with Tom Everett Scott and Chris Engler.

Friday started with Tripwire's Killing Floor 2 and ended with me meeting thee Kevin Smith.

Saturday was short since I had to work but I did get to meet the stars and creators from Constantine.

Sunday was packed with the voice talent of American Dad and the stars of Sleepy Hollow. All audio from the interviews will be up on the YouTube channel. Check here for the videos YouTube: Fangirl Review

I also was able to see some great cosplayers. I found that there were two unofficial costumes for this year. The two were Deadpool and Attack on Titan. I was amazed at how many people were dressed as Deadpool. Plus not just regular Deadpool but they all had personalities and there were different types of Deadpools. They even broke out in a dance together.

This was by far one of my most enjoyable trips to Comic Con. Plus this year the New York Comic Con beat out San Diego Comic Con in regards to attendees. That is truly amazing. I look forward to seeing what next year will hold. Here is some more random cosplay pictures for your enjoyment.

Oh and here is a picture of all the awesome things I walked away with from NYCC.

If you have not gone to a Comic Con yet, I would highly recommend it.
