Avengers: Age of Ultron

The Avengers have assembled and Marvel's release of the "sick" new  trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron due in theaters May 1, 2015 has brought  with it several revelations:

Artificial Intelligence's quest for dominance with Inhuman pawns, The quintessential  fight of Good vs. Evil in a  battle against enormous odds, Manipulated hero vs. hero, Romance between a Hulk & a Widow and The vision.

From the trailer we know that Iron-Man created Ultron. ( deviation from the comics as Dr Hank Pym aka Ant Man actually did) As usual the advanced AI's are never content with just being alive or playing second fiddle to their creator. They come equipped with grandiose personalities and world domination ambitions.  It appears that  twin brother and sister Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch (the children of Magneto and half siblings of Polaris in the comics) are aiding Ultron in his plans to take over the world along with an army of androids. Due to FOX owning the rights to X-Men and the word " Mutant" The siblings are referred to as" Inhumans."(Marvel has an Inhumans film slated for release in July of 2019) Its interesting that quicksilver appeared in X-Men: Days of Future Past and is allowed in this movie played by a different actor. Seeing Quicksilver using his speed to go head to head with Cap  and The Scarlet Witch using her power of magic and probability too control and manipulate opponents in  battle is LEGENDARY.

We also get to see glimpses of Hawk Eye in full archer garb  similar to his Marvel vs Capcom costumes changes  and a  romantic close up of Bruce Banner aka Hulk and Black Widow. We definitely need more females on the team as Black Window has often been linked to Captain American ( See there son in the animated film Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow), Hawk Eye and now Hulk. By process of elimination, I guess Iron Man and Thor are next. As long as this doesn't turn in to a love story like The Amazing Spider Man 2 which subsequently lead to the end of Andrew Garfield tenure as the wall crawler then we should be okay Hopefully Fox can redeem past failures with the upcoming Fantastic Four Reboot. The trailer ends with a glimpse of Vision. In the comics and other media, Vision is an android created by Ultron but decided for himself that humanity is worth saving and joins the Avengers and even ends up marrying The Scarlet Witch(I am trying to imagine it too, see picture below). His role is not clear yet in the movie but I am sure Marvel has a pivotal plan for him up their sleeve

IMBD states When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and it is up to the Avengers to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans.

 My Thoughts
The anticipation of the movie has me on full geek mode. Its the best assemble live action movie to date. ( which I also have on 3D blu-ray) If only Marvel's animated movies could be equally as captivating. We know the best animated super-hero movies below to DC( hands down)  The good part about the avengers is that they have a large roster of members which I would love to see expand in the marvel cinematic universe(MCU). Iron-Man. Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow are definitely a dream team as made evident in the first movie.  Falcon, Ms. Marvel or Black Panther, Ant-Man would all be welcomed additions to the team. Maybe Spider-Man will join the heroes after Captain America: Civil War or some X-men if Fox brokers a deal or the rights revert back to Marvel. Nonetheless, I am confident that this movie will deliver to its fans and that after this battle with Ultron, MCU will never be the same.

Trilogy and Beyond
Avengers: Infinity War 1 and 2 have been confirmed by IMBD for follow up movies to Avengers: Age of Ultron. Expect  Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 out May 2018 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 out May 2019.  According to IMBD, The Avengers assemble once again to face the mad titan Thanos and his powerful infinity Gauntlet.( The 3 year wait will be worth it)
