Tell me a little bit about yourself and your brand?
My Name is Suliman Onque and I'm a Newark born artist. I have been doing art for over 30 years. I do a wide array of art styles. I specialize in comic book illustration, abstract and traditional painting, murals,and logo design. Art is my life (#artLife). My slogan is "If you can imagine it, I can create it." I stand strongly by that phrase and I encourage young people to tap deep into their minds when they create art.

Since the age of four I've been creating art. I also have been a fan of comic books since a child. I use to dream of working for Marvel and Disney. Nowadays I concentrate on my own comic book and company. I also look forward to animating my own cartoons and developing material that can be used for video games. My vision is to artistically enhance the minds of all the of On-Q comics readers. To also expand the Art world and bridge the gap between the haves and have nots in the art world. To create an Art Nation.

My favorite logo design is the logo for my business. (Slim Suli Art)
It describes me as Painter and illustrator. A paint brush and pencil forming the letter S. Which is the beginning of my first name. I also use that logo for my comic book character Super Sketch Painter. (He wears it on his chest.)

What is your favorite art piece?
My Favorite painting is "the Baby's Kickin" a painting of a mother with child. I love the colors and how it displays the beauty and bond of a mother and unborn child. This painting has been in various newspaper and can now be seen hanging up in Vonda's kitchen in Newark New Jersey.
Tells us more about On-Q comics? What do you have coming out soon?
On-Q Comics is an Independent Comic book company started by myself and my brother Samad Onque. We aim to be different and bring great art and stories to all areas. Our first featured characters are "Ratchet Man" TM and "Super Sketch Painter "TM. The first official Super sketch painter comic book will be released summer 2015.
