KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra –World Tour– is an official concert of KINGDOM HEARTS series music performed by a full orchestra. Game footage on a giant screen will accompany orchestral arrangements of the game music, allowing fans to immerse themselves in various Disney worlds.

The first performance is scheduled to be held in Tokyo in 2017, the year marking the KINGDOM HEARTS series’ 15th anniversary. The orchestral concert will then tour the world starting with Europe, followed by Asia and finally North America.

Brian Wood Launches New Comic Book Series “Briggs Land”, Writes and Produces Potential TV Adaptation

From New York Times best-selling writer Brian Wood (The Massive, Rebels, DMZ, Channel Zero) comes an electrifying crime saga relevant to current world events: Briggs Land.

This stage is available beginning now in the In-Game Shop for 70,000 Fight Money. Season Pass holders will receive this stage for free as a thank you for their continued support of Street Fighter V.

Capcom is offering Guile as a free trial period to all Street Fighter V players until the In-Game Shop for real currency is made available to players. Once the shop launches, the free trial for DLC characters that released prior to the shop opening will end, and players will need to use Fight Money, real currency, or the Season Pass to access those characters. Ibuki, Balrog, Juri, and Urien will be releasing later this year and more additional content will be announced at a later date.

Also included in the Street Fighter V update is the first implementation of a system to punish players who frequently disconnect during matches (aka rage quitters). The system will continue to be refined over time and more enhancements will be implemented in the future. Additionally, a number of improvements to the matchmaking system have been made, which speeds up the time it takes to find an opponent and simplifies the process of creating and connecting to Battle Lounges.

THE FLASH’S JOSHUA WILLIAMSON SIGNS WITH DC ENTERTAINMENT

Williamson to Debut a New Vertigo Series Alongside His Take on the Scarlet Speedster

Fresh off the heels of the DC UNIVERSE: REBIRTH event held at WonderCon in Los Angeles in March, DC Entertainment announced today that it has reached an agreement with Joshua Williamson to create comic book content solely for the company’s DC Comics and Vertigo imprints. In addition to launching THE FLASH in June, Williamson will also make his Vertigo debut in September with FROSTBITE, a new six-issue miniseries joining the title lineup. Jason Shawn Alexander (Batman: Arkham City, The Empty Zone) will accompany Williamson on the book, handling art duties.

”Josh is a fantastic writer, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board,” said DC Entertainment Co-Publisher Jim Lee. “He has a knack for telling stories that really grab hold of readers, and it comes through whether he’s writing epic superhero fiction, or more edgy and darker tales.”

FROSTBITE follows Keaton, a South American woman and a “coyote,” a human trafficker specializing in no-questions-asked transportation of people across dangerous landscapes. Decades earlier, the world entered a new ice age; though the remaining populace has survived and adapted to the frozen environment using new technology, the weather is not their biggest danger. A new disease nicknamed “Frostbite” is making its way across the remaining communities. It literally turns people into ice, slowly freezing the moisture in their cells. Keaton and her crew are tasked with transporting two scientists from Mexico to a science lab on Alcatraz where they are working on a cure. It should be easy; after all, it’s only an elderly man and his adult daughter. But when the transport is attacked Keaton finds out that the scientist and his daughter have a bounty on their heads, and this simple transport job becomes very, very complicated.

“For a comic book writer, this is a dream come true,” said Williamson. “There aren’t too many people that get the chance to not only write The Flash, one of my all-time favorite characters, but also work with Vertigo; a publisher that’s been a huge influence on my writing style. DC Comics is an important company to me; I’ve loved these characters all my life and an opportunity to add to their mythology is amazing. It’s an honor to be a part of it.”

A self-professed “Flash fan”, Williamson makes his REBIRTH debut on both THE FLASH: REBIRTH (on sale June 8) and THE FLASH (on sale June 22) beginning an all new-story arc, blasting out of the events of May 25th’s DC UNIVERSE: REBIRTH Special, written by Geoff Johns (JUSTICE LEAGUE, GREEN LANTERN: REBIRTH, FLASH: REBIRTH). The events of the Rebirth Special have left Barry Allen at a crossroads, and issue #1 begins chapter one of “Lightning Strikes Twice,” where a new storm brews over Central City, and disproves the old adage about lightning never striking twice. This time, just when Barry Allen is beginning to feel overwhelmed fighting crime, a new speedster debuts! But where did he come from, and is there more to him that meets the eye? As part of the Rebirth line wide relaunch, The Flash will ship twice monthly, with art by Carmine DiGiandomenico and Neil Googe, at a lower price of $2.99.

The Legend of Zelda for Wii U Will Be Playable for the First Time at E3

One Lucky Zelda Fan to Win a Trip to E3 and be Among the First to Play the Game

Nintendo will transform its booth at the E3 video game trade show next month in Los Angeles to immerse fans in the world of the newest game in The Legend of Zelda franchise – playable for the first time ever at the show. To ensure attendees are able to truly experience the freedom of exploration the game offers, The Legend of Zelda for Wii U will be Nintendo’s focus of the show this year, and will be the only playable game in Nintendo’s booth via extended demos.

“At E3 this year, we’re treating people to an immersive Zelda experience,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “By giving attendees extended hands-on time with this remarkable game, they’ll be able to get a much deeper understanding of something new for the franchise.”

Nintendo’s kickoff to the E3 show happens at 9 a.m. PT Tuesday, June 14, when Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime introduces Nintendo Treehouse: Live, which will be dedicated to a day of live-streamed gameplay of The Legend of Zelda. This will be the world’s first in-depth look at the game, which will also include commentaries by Nintendo developers. The Legend of Zelda gameplay will be streamed from the E3 show floor via Nintendo’s channels on YouTube and Twitch, as well as on http://e3.nintendo.com. The stream will include game coverage, behind-the-scenes info and plenty of fun.

Series Producer Eiji Aonuma has said that this new installment in The Legend of Zelda franchise will be a clean break from the conventions of previous games, removing boundaries that forced players to follow a set path and introducing new gameplay that has not been experienced in previous games in the series.

While people everywhere will be able to watch The Legend of Zelda gameplay online, one lucky fan and a companion will be flown to Los Angeles to enjoy the action in person and be among the first to play the game on the show floor. Between now and May 10, Nintendo is offering a sweepstakes on Twitter for a chance to win a trip for two to E3 to play the game. Anyone who tweets @NintendoAmerica a note about what The Legend of Zelda series means to them while using the hashtags #MyZeldaLegend and #NintendoSweepstakes will be entered for a chance to win. After downloading the update, players who own the Minecraft: Wii U Editiondigital game, which launched last December, will have immediate access to new skins, a Super Mario-themed pre-made world and a set ofSuper Mario-themed music and item textures. All this new content is inspired by games in the iconicSuper Mario series, such as Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 andSuper Mario Sunshine. When the retail version of Minecraft: Wii U Edition launches in stores on June 17at a suggested retail price of $29.99, the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack will be included on the disc.

“Both the Super Mario franchise andMinecraft embrace the magic of exploration and discovery,” said Steve Singer, Nintendo of America’s Vice President of Publisher & Developer Relations. “Players will have a great time adventuring and creating in this free game update that embraces the unique and memorable elements of both franchises.”

The Wii U version of Minecraft features the full game, as well as many of the most popular previously released content packs for no extra charge. Downloading the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack gives players 40 new Super Mario-themed skins, which transform the game’s characters into familiar heroes like Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, and even troublemakers like Bowser, Wario and all seven Koopalings. All the world and item textures in the game will also be redone, providing players the opportunity to create their own Super Mario-themed locations within the world of Minecraft. While building, players will even enjoy listening to the smooth sounds of 15 pieces of music from Super Mario 64. Builders of all ages will love crafting massive new worlds using building blocks inspired by a series as accessible and recognizable as Super Mario.

Since launching in 2011, Minecraft has become a global phenomenon, selling more than 70 million games worldwide. The game places players in a massive randomly generated world, and lets them explore, harvest resources and craft anything their imaginations can conjure. The Wii U version ofMinecraft features Off-TV Play, touch-screen functionality and online multiplayer.

‘I AM SETSUNA’ TO ARRIVE IN AMERICA ON JULY 19

New Character Art and Trailer Revealed for Tokyo RPG Factory’s Debut Title. American fans of Japanese role playing games (JPRGs) are advised to mark their calendars July 19th for the release for I AM SETSUNA™. Square Enix® announced that the evocative title will be available on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Steam®.

I AM SETSUNA tells the sorrowful story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible inner strength, and the sacrifice she must undertake to the save the people of her land. Players will be immersed in an emotional and unforgettable story of true bravery as Setsuna leaves her hometown with her bodyguards on a journey to the farthest land.

New character illustrations, revealing details of the heroine Setsuna and her bodyguard Endir, were also released. Endir, the main playable character, is a skilled mercenary whose destiny is changed upon meeting Setsuna.

I AM SETSUNA offers beautiful art and game design that harken back to Japanese role-playing game classics of yesteryear, and includes various features inspired by legendary titles from the golden era of JRPGs, such as CHRONO TRIGGER®’s memorable battle system.

Captain America: Civil War Review

IMDB Storyline: With many people fearing the actions of super heroes, the government decides to push for the Anti-Hero Registration Act, a law that limits a heroes actions. This results in a division in The Avengers. Iron Man stands with this Act, claiming that their actions must be kept in check otherwise cities will continue to be destroyed, but Captain America feels that saving the world is daring enough and that they cannot rely on the government to protect the world. This escalates into an all-out war between Team Iron Man (Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), War Machine (Don Cheadle), and Spiderman (Tom Holland) and Team Captain America (Captain America (Chris Evans), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Ant Man Paul Rudd) while a new villain emerges

Fangirl Thoughts: This movie while not the best in the MCU it was a great set-up for what is to come. Watching the relationship deteriorate between Tony and Steve was sad but they both stood on different sides. I was personally Team Cap if I had to choose but I truly was on Team Wakanda. Frankly Black Panther stole the show. While everyone was happy for Spiderman, I was the most excited for the Black Panther. 

(The Internet has no chill!)

Boseman does a fantastic job with showing how strong of a character Black Panther truly is and shows that everyone should look forward to the movie in 2018. Frankly that is a bit far off and should be moved up. Black Panther is strong and has many resources behind him and is able to scratch up Captain America's shield. He is frankly the hero that many of us have been waiting for.

Everyone else does a great job as well. You enjoy seeing Rudd, Mackie, and Holland truly brings the Spiderman we have been waiting to see.

The Legend of Zelda Inducted Into the World Video Game Hall of Fame

Last year, Super Mario Bros. was part of an elite inaugural group of six games inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame in The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York. This year, recognition for Nintendo games continues, as the original The Legend of Zelda game for NES was just added to the class of 2016.

In a ceremony held at The Strong on May 5, six games were announced as this year’s honored inductees. Selected by a committee of journalists, scholars and video game industry members, inductees into the World Video Game Hall of Fame are recognized for their iconic status, longevity, geographical reach and influence.

Launching in 1986 at the start of the NES’s legendary lifespan, The Legend of Zelda broke new ground by popularizing non-linear gameplay found in many action-adventure games today. The intricately designed series has spawned numerous games in the franchise and introduced the world to classic characters like Link, Zelda and the evil Ganon. A new entry in The Legend of Zelda series is being developed for Wii U and Nintendo’s next system, code-named NX, and scheduled to launch simultaneously for both in 2017. The Wii U version of the game will also be the focus of Nintendo’s presence at the E3 video game trade show next month in Los Angeles.
