I participated in the kickstarter for this cosbox; a new monthly subscription box for Cosplayers, by Cosplayers! As a cosplayer you see tutorials on how others make costumes and what products they use. For me, sometimes I can't make that splurge on items I've never worked with before. If I mess it up or don't like the procedure I'm probably stuck with it. Cosplay is not a cheap hobby. I think this subscription box has a lot of potential. The 1st "box" arrived in a manilla envelope and contained a lot of cool goodies. Their first theme was "how to keep it together".
The box contained:
- BASIC BOX
- Worbla 5x5 Sample
- Arda Wigs Weft Sample
- Arda Wigs Wefting Needle
- 1oz Package of Sculpey III
- Assorted Clay Sculpting tool
- THEMED SPARKLE makeup sheets
- Pot of glitter
- Glitter Brush
- Bronzer
- Eyeliner jumbo pencil
While the box has a nice assortment of products there were no instructions on how you would implement these items into a cosplay or how to properly use Worbla. Their site does have a Tutorial section, but it is currently under construction.
I think this has a lot of potential and would love to see their site more updated. I'm eager to see what will be included next month and if this Sub Box will continue to grow.
