Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, and Silk team-up for an all-new crossover event. After the events of SPIDER-VERSE, Jessica Drew, Cindy Moon and Gwen Stacy have been developing a unique kind of friendship from across the multiverse. But when things go awry in Gwen’s universe, Silk and Spider-Woman of the Marvel Universe find themselves stranded in Gwen’s reality while their dangerous doppelgangers run rampant in THEIR New York! Helmed by the three series writers -- Jason Latour (Spider-Gwen), Robbie Thompson (Silk), and Dennis Hopeless (Spider-Woman) – the arachnid ladies of the Spider-Verse are about to embark on a crossover event that will delve into a brand new adventure that will take Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman and Silk down a path that will forever change who they are and how they think of their corners of the Spider-Verse.

“There’s going to be adventure, intrigue, fisticuffs, and some big twists, but I’m most excited about the personal story for each of these characters as they go through this dimension-hopping event,” explains Silk writer Robbie Thompson with Newsarama. “They’re all going to be tested and changed by this crossover." Being part of the “Spider-mythos” has never been easy going for any hero of the Marvel Universe and these ladies are about to enter an interdimensional crucible that will challenge them, not only as individual heroes, but as a team and how they can work together as a cohesive kick-ass unit. “I think what’s intriguing about the three of them is that they’re really just getting to know one another,” says Jason Latour. “But as far as the initial dynamic—Jessica is definitely the big sister who’s a little frustrated by how much these girls don’t know about being superheroes.”

Next year, bear witness to the first crossover of its kind and get answers to questions you didn’t even know you had as Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, and Silk jump dimensions and show what it takes to be called SPIDER-WOMEN in the first action-packed chapter SPIDER-WOMEN #1!

Yo-Kai are Coming to America! Countdown to Friday, Nov. 6, Starts NOW!

Are you ready for the biggest phenomenon in Japan to finally make its way here to the U.S.? YO-KAI WATCH, coming exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on Friday, Nov. 6, is sure to be a fun one for kids to enjoy playing for years to come.

So what are these Yo-kai, you ask?

Yo-kai cannot be seen by the human eye, but hide everywhere! It's why you feel the urge to bust out in a dance in the middle of the classroom or why some mornings you simply can't pry yourself out of bed. Hundreds of these spooky, sometimes cute and usually mischievous Yo-kai secretly inhabit our world.

Let us introduce you to three of the 200 amazing Yo-kai characters you'll grow to love once you pick up the game and start to play:

Jibanyan is a slacker cat who saps your energy. When he's not lying around eating chocolate bars, Jibanyan likes to practice his fighting moves on passing trucks - usually with painful results!

Walkappa makes you want to go for a swim - or jump in a lake! Most kappas stay in the water, but this one is a landlubber. He keeps a bottle of water to pour on his head to stay wet, though.
Ever revealed a secret without realizing it? It might be the work of Tattletell, a mischievous Yo-kai who takes the form of an elderly woman. All these characters above are a part of the free demo currently available to download in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS. So what are you waiting for? Give it a try for yourself!

Also, in the spirit of Halloween this weekend, we created some frightfully spooktacular images that you can use to stir up the fun and get your audience excited about the game! Please let us know if you'd like hi-res versions of these and we'll be happy to send them to you.

The all-new original graphic novel from the singer and lyricist of band Art Brut. Written by Eddie Argos—singer and lyricist of critically-acclaimed classic rock band Art Brut—with art by Steven Horry, colors by David Cooper, and lettering by Colin Bell, comes DOUBLE D, an all-new coming-of-age story about a teen who finds power in his shortcomings.

In DOUBLE D (after what is officially The Worst Day Ever) overweight bully magnet Danny Carter discovers he can use his excess body mass to fuel superpowers. Obviously he's going to be a superhero and fight crime, but when you're fifteen years old and you live in the suburbs it's not quite as easy as expected...

This all-new original graphic novel is set to coincide with a recorded soundtrack album, featuring Mark Hefferman and Grant Purser as well as Argos and Horry, and will be released on Post/Pop Records in late November/early December.

“I thought rhyming things was my favourite pastime, turns out I love writing comics just as much! I'm as excited about Double D coming out on Image as I was about “Formed a Band” coming out on Rough Trade,” said Argos. “There are so many great comics on Image that every time I remember a new one I start jumping around the room because now we are label mates.”

Horry added: “Being an Eddie script, Double D is as funny, heartfelt, and true-to-life as the best Art Brut songs. Well, as true to life as a story about a teenager with superpowers can be. And to work with people as talented as Colin Bell and David Cooper has made the whole process an absolute joy. Roll on the next one!”

DOUBLE D will hit comic book stores on Wednesday, November 11th and book stores on Tuesday, November 24th.

Have you seen what the developers at DICE LA and the Battlefield 4™ community have been up to? For the past six months, they have been creating a new map called Operation Outbreak that is coming to Battlefield 4 now as a free* digital download on Origin™ for PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, to all Battlefield 4 players.

Battlefield 4 players participated in every step of the map creation process from the core concept such as theme and setting, to selecting the points of interest, and naming the map. Players provided feedback and suggestions on forums, and even voted in polls to shape the map’s outcome. Through the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment, they also were able to try out the new map in various iterations from early scale tests to its final form. The result is a dense infantry-focused jungle map.

Here are some of the highlights from the community-voted polls:

Favoured setting
1. Jungle
2. Desert
3. Mountain

Top-voted points of interest
1. Waterfall
2. Ancient Ruins
3. Ghost Town

Preferred names
1. Operation Outbreak
2. Harau Falls
3. Ruins of Harau

“Involving the players and letting them participate in the creation of a map from the ground up is something we’ve never done before. Seeing our player’s passion and dedication has been a great inspiration for us,” said David Sirland, Producer of Battlefield 4. “When working with a very active community, releasing several updates to the map per week, we realised how powerful such a tight feedback loop can be.”

Operation Outbreak will be included as part of Battlefield 4 Community Operations DLC out now.

The Storm finally hits Arcadia Bay, some nine months after the series’ first began with the release of DONTNOD’s inaugural episodic adventure game; Life is Strange.

“Since the launch of the first episode, the response to the game has been overwhelming for our small Parisian studio,” said Luc Baghadoust, Producer on Life is Strange. “The entire team would like to take this opportunity to offer their complete gratitude and thankfulness for so much love and support over this past year.”

The end is here, however, and with the release of Episode 5: Polarized the series draws to a close. In it Max will face the most agonizing decision of her life whilst Arcadia Bay is preparing to weather a huge storm as Life is Strange comes to a gripping and gut wrenching conclusion.

The season finale of Life is Strange is now available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC – and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Max and Chloe’s story with you.

SUPERMAN: AMERICAN ALIEN lands on November 11th.

DC Entertainment proudly presents SUPERMAN: AMERICAN ALIEN, a 7-issue miniseries written by Hollywood screenwriter Max Landis, who masterminded the blockbuster superpower movie Chronicle and the critically acclaimed American Ultra (starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart). Landis, nominated for an Eisner Award for his work on ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN, returns to DC Comics by joining forces with an all-star lineup of the industry’s top artists.

The seven short stories from Clark’s life, all of which represent important junctures in his development as a person, are brought to life by the brilliance of Francis Manapul, Jock, Jae Lee, Tommy Lee Edwards, Nick Dragotta, Joëlle Jones, and Jonathan Case, with covers by Ryan Sook.

But these are not the stories of the iconic “Superman” as you know him, but of the soft-spoken, charming, often-funny Kansas farm-boy behind the Man of Steel. With the tone of each issue ranging from heartwarming and simple, to frighteningly gritty and violent, to sexy, sun-kissed and funny, SUPERMAN: AMERICAN ALIEN is unlike anything you’ve seen before. “Issue one is heartwarming, two is brutal, three is sexy, four will make you think, five’s thrilling, six might make you cry and seven…seven has the most violent fight you’ve ever seen featuring Clark Kent,” says Landis. “This has been my dream since I was ten years old. Come on this journey with me and Clark. C’mon.”

In issue #1, superstar artist Nick Dragotta (East of West, Fantastic Four) illustrates the story of Jonathan and Martha Kent as they struggle to deal with their 12-year-old son’s latest quirk—he’s been floating up into the air, sometimes hundreds of feet!

The new science fiction suspense series will have readers on the edge of their seats this December. Writer Matt Hawkins (THINK TANK, TALES OF HONOR) teams up with artist Raffaele Ienco for an all-new science fiction, suspense series called SYMMETRY—set to launch from Image Comics/Top Cow Productions this December.

In SYMMETRY, Utopia is here. Hunger, sickness, work… all relics of a long forgotten past. For the greater good of the human species, all individuality, creativity, and negative emotions have been genetically bred out and medically suppressed. The population is limited to segregated areas where people lead long lives of leisure, games, and socializing. Only one man and one woman seem to notice, care, or think differently. Once they find each other, their relationship sparks a revolution...but will their love cause the salvation or destruction of mankind?

"I spent a ton of time talking to psychologists about what it would take to create a world with no aggression or violence," said Hawkins. "From my research it would require eliminating diversity, ambition and creativity. Sounds bland I know, but it's an interesting exercise and amazing for storytelling opportunities. Symmetry is an interesting Utopian future that gets broken, which results in some fantastic drama for the lead characters.”

SYMMETRY #1 will hit comic book stores on Wednesday, December 9th.

Star Wars: The Force Inside Review

Star Wars: The Force Inside, is exclusively available on Put Me In The Story! In Star Wars: The Force Inside, you must choose your own path—Jedi or Sith? Alongside classic characters from the Star Wars saga, each reader will experience an interactive adventure following their destiny.

In a galaxy far, far away, everyone must decide where their true allegiance lies. Are you Jedi or Sith? All the most powerful heroes and villains in the Star Wars universe are here to reveal the Force inside you!  First Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia ask questions to guide you and help you become a Jedi Master. Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him. Then the dark side of the Force will try to sway you – flip the book over and meet General Grievous, Darth Vader, Count Dooku, Darth Maul and Darth Sidious. Each side reveals your rank among the Jedi and Sith with a personalized certificate and poster with your picture!

Fangirl Thoughts: First I must point out that I am a huge Star Wars fan. I do not recognize the existence of those other three movies but maybe that is just me. I am excited for the new movie, I feel like these may be done right and will not upset me.

This book gives the Star Wars fan the chance to see what side they will fall on. I love that you get to make it so personalized and that your picture is in it. Plus if you are buying it for a loved one you can include a personalized message to the person. I will admit I was cheesy and said May the force be with you in my book but I felt as though it worked best. I enjoyed making this book and going through the questions. Sadly I turned out to be a Sith Lord more than a Jedi, oh well.

I recommend this purchase for fans. Pick it up and let me know what you think.

The Flash S2, Ep. 4 "The Fury of Firestorm" recap

The show starts with Jefferson Jackson a high school student having a great football game and thinking about going to college. Then you see him get when the accelerator exploded. Now back to present day they have calmed Dr. Stein. They are tying to figure out what to do about Dr. Stein and find another meta human for him to merge with. Barry goes and steals the blood from the potential firestorms to see if they are compatible. The potentials are Henry Hewitt or Jefferson Jackson and they plan to meet with both of them. We see Wells lurking in the background. Jacks wants to refuse talking about the accelerator since it ruined his life and he is angry that his college dreams were destroyed. Iris and Joe meet with Francine at the coffee shop. Iris asks the hard questions and comes out the gate swinging. She tells her mother that she does not hate her and that she wants to continue to live a separate life from her mother. Henry Hewitt is at the lab and Caitlyn is excited for him. Hewitt is in and everyone is excited but Barry has a lot of reservations.

They attempt the merge but it does not work. Hewitt is frustrated and walks out but not before we see a little bit of fire on his hand. There is a break in at Caitlyn's old job and we see that Wells stole something. As Joe investigates the theft he tells Patty to keep it a secret from Barry. Francine shows up to Joe's work. Francine drops the bombshell that she is dying and that is why she came back. Jefferson visits the lab and they tell him the truth about his potential abilities. Jacks wants nothing to do with it. Caitlyn is determined and she wants to try again with Hewitt. We see Hewitt getting mad at his job and flames dancing around him. Joe has a frank discussion with Barry about Patty and that it is time for him to move on from Iris as his first love.

Joe lets Iris know that Francine is dying. He tells her that he is okay if she wants to meet with her. Caitlyn visits with Jacks. She tells him about Ronnie. Hewitt shows up and attacks Jacks and is going after Snow. Jacks is able to knock Hewitt out before they take off. Jacks agrees to merge and the merge takes. Hewitt is at the football stadium and The Flash shows up and the new Firestorm shows up. They plan to make Hewitt so mad that he blows his fuse and he is down for the count. Iris meets with Francine. Apparently Francine is still lying. Francine had a son 8 moths after she left. Iris is upset. Iris tells Francine to leave them alone. Stein and Jacks plan to leave to train to get better. Stein tells Cisco to tell his friends what is going on and to not be scared. Barry is watching Patty from the window as the Flash and the shark man from the episode shows up and grabs him. Patty tries to shoot him but he keeps moving. A man shows up and shoots him with a gun and Barry confronts him and it is Dr. Wells.

Fangirl Thoughts: I really enjoyed seeing the Shark man. He made me giggle. I know that there was a lot going on in this episode but the Shark Man made it for me. We all knew from the gate that Hewitt was bad for the Firestorm project. Just because you are educated does not mean you are a good person. I am happy that Jacks worked out.  I look forward to seeing how the West Family drama unfolds.

Iron Man goes global from Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev. All-new series to be translated to reflect the languages of select countries worldwide.  In 2016, Tony Stark is establishing the entire world his base of operations and taking Iron Man internationally with the help of Brian Michael Bendis (Invincible Iron Man, Daredevil, Guardians of the Galaxy) and Alex Maleev (Daredevil, Moon Knight) in the all-new Marvel series, INTERNATIONAL IRON MAN.

As technology and globalization continue to reduce the size of the world stage, Marvel continues to reflect the world outside our windows and brings the “Golden Avenger” to defend the globe. “I think we all, no matter where we are in our lives, feel that the world has gotten much smaller,” said Bendis while speaking with Entertainment Weekly. “We can all reach out to each other no matter where we are in the world. We feel each other’s pains and victories. I think for Tony it’s like that times 100. He’s much more aware of the global situation and how a big fight with Galactus in New York would affect things in other parts of the world.”

Tony Stark is a futurist. He anticipates threats to come and plans for them. That mentality is what leads Tony to take Iron Man out of New York and proactively taking on threats across the globe. “If I was a villain, New York is the last place I’d attack, because you know, just by math, there are 700 superheroes in a 17-block radius. I’d go anywhere else,” explains Bendis. “We’ll be dealing with some of the criminals in the Marvel Universe who are smart enough to put that together in their head finally. Tony’s gonna be racing to help people that don’t necessarily always get the attention of the Marvel superheroes.”

Accompanying Iron Man on his new global – an unlikely partner who knows everything there is to know about the dark underbelly of the Marvel Universe – Doctor Doom! “Doom knows where the bodies are buried…he knows a lot of stuff that Tony doesn’t know.” Additionally, not only will Iron Man reach out worldwide, but so will the actual published comic book. Working with a number of Marvel licensees, INTERNATIONAL IRON MAN will be translated into the respected languages of 25 different countries and will be printed for over 40 different countries in English.

Strap in and suit up, True Believers. Coming in early 2016, Bendis and Maleev reunite for an armored adventure that establishes Iron Man as global advisory for all of those who stand against him in the Marvel Universe. Don’t miss the blockbuster INTERNATIONAL IRON MAN #1!

The fantasy western series will take readers on an all-new adventure. Writer Brian Schirmer and artist Claudia Balboni team up for a fantasy, western adventure in BLACK JACK KETCHUM—coming to Image Comics this December.

BLACK JACK KETCHUM pulls readers into a dreamlike version of the Old West, where one Tom Ketchum struggles to clear his name—and stay alive—when he's mistaken for wanton outlaw "Black Jack" Ketchum. With the aid of his talking sidearm, a secretive gambler, and a mute girl with a Winchester, Tom evades the mysterious Union and its supernatural enforcers, the faceless Dusters, as he's forced to question his identity, his sanity, and his very existence.

"To me, Tom Ketchum is more than a minor historical figure—he's family,” said Schirmer. “My great-grandmother's cousin. So, his name and the stories associated with him have been with me my whole life. That said, I knew we wouldn't be creating a strictly biographical piece, so I pulled in influences from Alejandro Jodorowsky, David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky, and Orson Welles' The Trial, just to name a few."

Balboni added: "It's a surreal western, so it’s spiced up with many elements foreign to the classic western comics. I tried to evoke the excitement and atmosphere of the Old West in a darker and distressing visual context, to attract both the lovers of classic Westerns and people who like a more intricate and oneiric narrative style."

The adventure begins with BLACK JACK KETCHUM #1 which will hit comic book stores on Wednesday, December 2nd.

Supergirl S1, Ep. 1 "Pilot" recap

Show starts with a voice over by Kara. We see the beginning that we all know with Kara following behind Clark to be his protector on earth. Kara's pod was thrown off and she arrived 24 years late. Clark takes Kara to an adopted family so she can have a normal life and she decides to blend in. Dean Cain (superman) is her adopted dad and her mother is Helen Slater the original Supergirl! Kara is working as a personal assistant. It is very much a Devil Wears Prada moment. Kara meets the new guy who is James Olsen from the Daily Planet. Nice flirtation moment. Kara's sister is Alex who she is forced to save as her airplane almost crashes which essentially puts her in the spotlight. She flies away after the save.

After the save, Alex is scared for her sister. Kara is excited and has always felt the need to help people. Alex tells her it is not safe for her to do anything like that which leaves Kara heartbroken. Kara's boss Cat says that Supergirl is what she needs to save the tribune which was about to be downsized. Kara decides to confide in her coworker, Winn. We get to meet the creepy man with a weird head. He is advised to kill Kara. We now have our typical hero outfit montage. Winn hacks into the crime database to give her information on crimes. She is now wearing the coat of arms. While mid flight she is shot with kyptonite darts. She is brought to a facility and realizes that her sister is an agent. She is part of an organization to stop alien invasion. Alien convicts have escaped onto Earth due to Kara's emergence from the phantom zone. Kara is so upset with her sister for the lies.

Kara's boss names the new female hero #SuperGirl. James Olsen steps in and saves Kara who is upset with the name. He brings in a picture of Supergirl to save Kara from losing her job. Kara meets with one of the escape alien convicts, Kara is losing this fight pretty badly. Her sister comes in and saves her. Kara is broken and admits that the world doesn't need her. Alex shows up to Kara's apartment. Alex is forced to talk to her through the door. Alex brings her a projected message from her mother that tells her that there is no correct path and that she needs to remain brave, strong, and true to herself. Alex tells her that she needs to change. Kara takes on the convict again and uses her heat vision to burn his weapon and the guy uses a shard to kill himself after saying there is a bigger threat coming. James Olsen lets the bomb drop that he knew what she was and how Clark sent him there. Clark wanted her to choose to be the hero. James brings her a gift from him which is the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby and that it will not shred. James says that Clark is proud of her. Episode ends with Astra-El saying that she will rule Earth and her niece will not stand in her way.

Fangirl Thoughts: Now if you know anything about me then you know that Smallville broke my heart so bad due to the lack of flying until the bitter end that I was unable to watch Arrow when it first came on due to the lack of trust in the CW. I am so happy that she is flying from the beginning. Overall I was happy with the show. The fight sequence could have been better but it was a good start. I like that Jimmy knows the truth about her and was purposely sent. What did you think?

The all-new miniseries crosses ’50s pulp with an ’80s VHS visual aesthetic. From UK creative team writer Dan Watters and artist Caspar Wijngaard comes LIMBO, an all-new, genre-bending fantasy series set to launch from Image Comics this November.

In LIMBO #1, readers meet a detective with no memory, no identity, and no manners, a femme fatale seeking escape from a powerful crime lord, a voodoo queen with a penchant for mixtapes and hi-tops, and a goat-eating TV… Welcome to Dedande City, where good people check under their beds at night and reality is never quite what it seems.

“Limbo is a noir story set in a world that flatly refuses to adhere to noir conventions,” said Watters. “It’s a straightforward story of a detective trying to solve a crime; he just happens to be doing it in a reality where anything can and will happen, where music is a deadly weapon and you can’t trust your own electronic appliances not to be possessed by minor deities…”

Wijngaard added: “It’s is a pulp detective novel at its core, but it’s been up all night watching all the bad TV your parents warned you about.”

This surreal new neon-noir miniseries crosses ’50s pulp with an ’80s VHS visual aesthetic drawing from the likes of Carpenter, Cronenberg, and Lynch.

LIMBO #1 will hit comic book stores on Wednesday, November 11th.

“The werewolves of London are chihuahuas compared with the hardier breeds we have out here in the regions. With Cry Havoc Si Spurrier, Ryan Kelly and their ingenious colour and design cohorts unveil an electrifying account of black ops, black dogs and weaponised folklore that is unlike anything you've ever seen. Best in show.” —Alan Moore

The gritty new fantasy, military noir series hits stores this January. X-Men Legacy writer Simon Spurrier and superstar artist Ryan Kelly present fiends, fragility, and firepower in an all-new series called, CRY HAVOC. "Folklore is saturated with monsters," said Spurrier. "Centuries ago these wonderful fictions were at the bleeding-edge of the Zeitgeist, but they've faded from relevance. Cry Havoc asks what happens when those bright-eyed and bloody-fanged stories force themselves back into the modern limelight. Who resists them, and who gets caught in the middle?"

"I've been itching to work with Ryan for years," Spurrier added, "but doing so with Image, in a book blending military hardware with a heartfelt take on the supernatural...? That's the stuff of legend."

First announced at Image Expo, CRY HAVOC mixes the hard-boiled militaria of Jarhead with the dark folklore of Pan's Labyrinth and includes an unprecedented use of multiple colorists—Matt Wilson, Lee Loughridge, and Nick Filardi—to define the story's threads. As the creators themselves wryly note: this is not the tale of a lesbian werewolf who goes to war... except it kind of is.

Kelly said of the series, “I was begging Si Spurrier to let me draw this, and he did. One of the best scripts I've ever worked on. Top-notch coloring, lettering, design… It's got everything!”

CRY HAVOC #1 Cover A by Ryan Kelly and Emma Price will hit comic book stores on Wednesday, January 27th.

The Walking Dead S6, Ep. 3 "Thank You" Recap

Important Moments: Episode starts with the other group. The horn is going and the group is trying to stop the half of the zombie horde that broke off. Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham are continuing on with the other half of the horde. Rick wants Glenn and Michonne to help the group get back while Rick continues on to save the group. Rick pulls Glenn and Michonne aside and says that they won't all make it back and they need to do what needs to be done to survive. The horn stops.

Michonne, Heath, and Glenn run and attack the zombies. The one guy runs off after being an idiot and shooting the guy in the leg. Daryl tells Abraham and Sasha that he wants to go back and he makes the hard decision to leave them. One guy gets bitten and worries about his wife back at Alexandria. The group comes across some cars and plan to check them to see if one can get them back. They find the hat of Sturgess who left them behind. They come across his body being eaten by walkers. Nicholas leads them into an abandoned pet store. Are we going to get zombie hamsters? That would be real cool. Glenn plans to create a distraction so everyone else can get away. Heath continues to make snide comments because he overheard what Rick said to Michonne and Glenn. Rick is running down the street and hears Glenn's plan. Annie and Scott say to leave them since they are slowing them down. Rick makes it to the RV and takes off.

Michonne and the group start to hear pounding and it causes noises which draws the walkers. The horde is now in town and they are trapped. The team blasts their way out and takes off. Annie goes down first and the crowd keeps going. Glenn and Nicholas realize that the building has already been set on fire and they scramble to find another building. Nicholas and Glen find themselves trapped in an alley. Heath helps Michonne get over the fence by shooting the zombies holding her leg. David dies Blood on camera moment as always. Nicholas looks at Glenn and says thank You, shoots himself and falls causing Glenn to fall with him. Glenn appears to be torn apart by the zombies.

Heath and Glenn are helping carry Scott. Michonne stops and they do not see smoke and she is concerned that Glenn didn't make it. Rick uses the walkie talkie to say he is in place but he does not hear back. Rick hears gunfire from Alexandria and tells them to not turn back. The RV door is open and gun fire erupts. Rick is attacked by the wolves (especially the guy with the gun). Daryl hears it and is concerned. Rick kills the two guys. He pulls out a jar of baby food from the one guy's pocket. He notices more wolves sneaking up on the RV. He shoots the hell out of the side of the RV. Michonne, Heath, and Scott make it back to Alexandria and see that it is a burnt out shell. Daryl meets back up with Abraham and Sasha to lead the majority of the horde. Rick is having problems getting the RV to start as the zombie horde approaches.

My thoughts: So in the end Nicholas's selfish ways leads to Glenn's alleged death. I am not completely on board that he is dead but I am going to go with him supposedly being dead. I am just mad that Glenn did not get to meet Lucille but I guess it is like Dale and Hershel the question is who will now be taking the place of Glenn. My question is will Maggie become the Maggie we know in the comics.  I actually enjoyed this episode and I look forward to seeing the aftermath of all of this. Based off the previews it looks like we see what happened to Morgan in the past in the next episode so I am not sure how much aftermath we will truly get to see. With the walkers approaching the town you all know what moment I am hoping for. What did you think about this episode?

Dark Horse is thrilled to announce Anne Szabla’s widely loved web comic, Bird Boy, will debut in print for the first time in a graphic novel collection titled Bird Boy: The Sword of Mali Mani!

“I’m super excited to be bringing Bird Boy to Dark Horse Comics! Some of the first comics I ever bought and enjoyed were Dark Horse comics, and to become part of that legacy now, alongside some of my favorite fellow creators, is really an honor,” said Szabla.

Bird Boy follows the story of Bali, a ten-year-old boy desperate to prove his worth to his northern tribe despite his small stature. Banned from the ceremony that would make him an adult in the eyes of his people, he takes matters into his own hands. To prove that he is capable of taking care of himself, he sets out into the forbidden forest and stumbles upon a legendary weapon. Bali fights his way across a dangerous land of gods, men, and beasts to keep the sword of Mali Mani, the savior of the sun, from the hands of the terrifying rooks.

As announced on the Dark Horse: CLASSIFIED! panel at New York Comic Con, writer Brian Wood (The Massive, Rebels) and artist Tristan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road, TMNT) will take on the xenomorphs just in time to celebrate the anniversary of Aliens with a new ongoing series—Aliens: Defiance!

“Alien was groundbreaking when it first debuted, and has only grown in relevance and pop culture legend since,” remarked Wood. “Thirty-seven years is an impressive amount of time for any entertainment property to thrive, much less still top mainstream headlines and fuel speculation like it does. It’s an honor to be invited to add to that legend.” In space, no one can hear you scream . . . Aliens: Defiance follows struggling Colonial Marine rookie Zula Hendricks as she goes AWOL to protect Earth from an unknown alien species.

“Few films are as timelessly terrifying and the fact that it continues to grip audiences and affect them beyond any of its successors and imitators (of which there are plenty) is the strongest testament to how truly transcendent everything that went into, and came out of, Alien is,” added Jones. “Being asked to be a part of something so defining, and so instrumental to the creative development of not just me, but so many, many others, is a lifelong dream come true.”

Aliens: Defiance #1 (of 12) is in stores April 27, 2016. Preorder your copy today at your local comic shop!
