Smash Bros: Zelda Announced

Hello Everyone,

A new challenger has been announced for the upcoming Smash Bros for the Wii U and 3DS. Zelda has been officially confirmed.

Zelda is offically in the new Smash Bros. I am sure many of you are excited as we all know everyone is on the chopping block. In the past she has the ability to transform into Sheik. I hope that is true again as many of you utilize that character. I have found myself battling Sheik many times with my Ice Climbers.  Her Final Smash is called "Light Arrow."

Zelda has more strong attacks than she has fast ones, so she is treated like a heavy character. However, she is in fact very light, being not much heavier than Sheik. One thing to remember is that she really only has two special attacks, because transform does no damage, and Fayore's wind is hard to attack with. So the best thing to do is use her standard attack and Nayru's love. Din's fire is really only used to finish off opponents when they've left themselves vulnerable or at the start of the match to get some damage in. Zelda's melee attacks are very powerful but slow.

Have fun! Comment and share your thoughts on this addition.

Dr. Who Xmas

Goodbye Raggedy Man!

Well the time has finally arrived…….Matt Smith's 2013 Christmas Special/send off! *sniff sniff* Please note there are spoilers (^_~) ahead…

To me, the episode fell by. I loved seeing The Doctor fight for Tranzelor and keeping the citizens safe. It helped with previous episodes to fill in that gap of what really happened. He was a warrior until the end. Even though it took 300 years for him to age, it was a huge difference to see The Doctor old, weary, and fragile. All of the things he not. The way he tricked Clara into going back home twice was just heartbreaking, even more so seeing her frozen on the doors holding on. The TARDIS should’ve known that The Doctor would need Clara in his diminishing hour. Without Clara there on Tranzelor, the Timelords would’ve never granted The Doctor a new set of regenerations. And BRAVO to that, it helped answer the question we have all been asking…..why is the new Doctor old again!? *applaud*

If you blinked – you missed the regeneration. BUT I think bringing Amy Pond in to send him off, is just the icing on the cake. It put that warm-fuzzy feeling inside you, and maybe for a second everything will be alright. That is until Peter Capaldi didn’t know how to fly the TARDIS. ;) We will have to wait until August to see how that one pans out! Until then my Little Whovians!

Gamer Corner: Brice

Welcome to this week's installment of Gamer Corner, where Fangirl Review interviews a gamer and gets his thoughts on the gaming world and learning what he is enjoying at the moment.

1. Tell me a little bit about yourself?
I’m Brice.  I’m 29 with a wife and two kids.  I’m a Capricorn.  I like long walks on the beach and cuddling next to a fire and winter nights with…I mean... I love arm wrestling, spitting, eating bacon, and growing a beard... cuz I’m a man!

2. What rig do you currently game on?
I mainly game on my PS4 right now.  But I also have a gaming laptop from Ibuypower that I use for most of the games not on the PS4.  I have a Vita as well that I use a lot for remote-play with the PS4 but also play some of the Vita games too.  I did have a PS3 and 360 but sold them both for my PS4.  Hopefully, I’ll be getting an Xbox One by next summer.

3. What game are you currently playing right now?
Right now, I’m heavily into Assassin’s Creed 4 and Lego Marvel Superheroes.

4. Do you enjoy that game, why? How’s the overall game play?
I was really surprised at how much I like AC4 because I didn’t care too much for AC3.  I just turn on the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack and sail the open seas in search of plunder.  There are so many places to explore on the maps and three large cities for some of the more classic AC gameplay.  The hand-to-hand combat is immensely improved from AC3.  It takes timing and skill and is reminiscent of the Batman: Arkham games.  The one thing that I felt was lacking is different weapons.  So far as I have played, you really only have your fists, dual swords, or dual arm-blades.  You can pick up some of the weapons from fallen foes, but it is hard when you are in the middle of combat.  The ship combat is just awesome.  I always head up the mast and swing to the enemy ship from a rope to board… so awesome!  Best pirate game since Monkey Island (How appropriate… you fight like a cow)!

I also have really loved Lego Marvel too.  I’ve played a lot of the Lego games and they just seem to get better and better with each iteration.  My favorite so far was Lego City Undercover on the Wii U, but this definitely ranks up there with it.  It has a massive New York city to explore and tons of side missions (albeit a bit stale at times).  The platforming in the Lego games is so fun though and this game is no exception during the main missions.  Can’t wait for the Lego Movie!

5. Would you recommend it?
I would definitely recommend both games!

6. Are there any games coming out that you are looking forward to?
By far my most anticipated game is Destiny.  It has such a fresh concept to me and seems like it can be really awesome.  I’m also pretty excited for Infamous:  Second Son, The Division, Watch Dogs (Damn you Ubisoft for pushing it back!), and Star Wars Battlefront III.

7. What kind of gamer do you classify yourself to be? ie. PC, Console, Tabletop, LARP as well as Hardcore, RPG, etc.
I would definitely consider myself and console gamer at heart.  Although I play plenty of games on my PC, I still have to use a gamepad (360 controller) for all of them.  If it doesn’t have controller support, I tend not to play it.  I have not tried my hand at Tabletop or LARPing but with a wife and kids, I would find it difficult to make the time (plus I don’t think I’m adventurous enough to try LARPing).

The term Hardcore gamer is a very fluid one in the market right now.  I don’t really love JRPGs and that’s what I think of when I think HARDCORE gamer.  However, I play pretty much every new game that comes out aside from sports games and some shooters (I’m looking at your Treyarch and Infinity Ward...) and I much prefer challenging and immersing gameplay with puzzles that make you think, so I guess I could be considered hardcore.  I prefer RPGs most of the time, even the turn-based ones, but I also love a good action, platformer, survival horror, drama (Heavy Rain), or even a racer (no sim racers for me though, my 2005 Altima is all I need from the real world…).

8. So with the new consoles out, which way are you leaning One or 4? (Ignore if you are a PC gamer)
Obviously since I already got the PS4, I think I’m leaning more that way, but I’ll end up having all of them, even the Wii U, eventually.  I just don’t like to miss out on exclusives.  That being said, I love indie games and feel like they show how games don’t need huge budgets to be terrific games with lots of gameplay time.  That’s the main reason I’m leaning toward PS right now, they have seemed much more involved with indies than XB, but XB I’m sure will have some good ones coming too (Below looks amazing!).  If you haven’t tried too many indies, I highly suggest it.  Shadow Complex (XBL), Dead Nation (PSN), Trials HD and Revolution (XBL), and Mark of the Ninja (all) just to name a few.

9. What are your thoughts on the gaming industry?
I feel like devs are focusing too much on appealing to the ‘Mainstream’ gamer and watering down the gaming experience.  Dead Space 3 is a great example of this.  So many pickups and so much ammo made this game nothing more than a shooter and far from its survival horror roots.  Don’t get me wrong, I liked Dead Space 3 and played it to the end, but it could have been so much more if they weren’t trying to make it easier so it appealed to the ‘Mainstream.’  I feel like EA is a big culprit of this.

Naughty Dog shows us that you don’t have to water down gameplay or story or anything and can still appeal to the mainstream.  Both Uncharted and even more so The Last of Us has had amazing success while still focusing heavily on story and being challenging games at times.

I by no means think ‘Mainstream’ gamers should be ‘kicked-out’ of gaming, but they are the loudest and most fickle voices and so the market is starting to lean toward them.  I wish COD players and Madden players out there ventured away from those games a little more to see how much more there is out there.

10. If you had the power, what direction would you have the gaming industry go?
I would definitely do away with microtransactions.  I feel like this concept is killing the market and makes me want to punch a baby…  Day One DLCs and the ability to buy something to make the game easier (ie:  better armor, better weapons, upgrades, etc) rather than putting the time in the game to find them yourself, spits in the face of gaming and is completely self-destructive.

11. 10 years from now, where do you see the industry? Are you happy with that direction?
I honestly have no idea.  It seems like the industry is still in a huge flux.  It could start moving back toward innovation and amazing storylines, or it could get rid of stories in the AAA games all together and solely go to multiplayer, with Indies being the only single player games out there.  10 years is a long time in the technology world so it’s really completely up in the air.

I would love to see Google Glass integrate with games.  That would just be awesome!

12. Favorite Game (can include tabletop) of all time and why?
I would have to say my favorite series has been Mass Effect.  The story and level of choice in that game is just so deep.  Even though the ending leaves something to be desired, the story is still told so well throughout and it’s all about the journey, not the destination.  I still talk to people now and again who describe parts of the game I never knew because of the choices they made.  And I’ve played each of the games no less than 5 times through and twice through the entire series back to back.

Of course, a game series that was with me throughout my childhood that will always hold a special place on my thumbs is Monkey Island.  It’s mix of humor with really challenging puzzles makes it fun to play even now, 20 years or so after its release of the first game.

Ok… one last one… Mario RPG!!

13. Additional Thoughts and Comments?
I really hope my daughters grow up to be gamers, but if they don’t, at least I don’t have to share...

14. Would you like to share your gamer tag and the system so others may add you?
B2DaRice
This is on PSN, XBL, and Steam.  Although I don’t have an Xbox right now, I still have my XBL account and check it with my tablet.

GAME ON! (Wayne’s World)

Thank you to Brice for an awesome interview. If you would like to be interviewed for Gamer Corner please feel free to contact me at fangirlcontact@gmail.com.

Movie Mondays: Resident Evil Retribution

I decided to add Movie Mondays to my blog. Essentially I will watch a movie and share my thoughts on it. It may not be new or recent movie but more than likely a movie I meant to watch but life got in the way and I never got around to it until I saw it on clearance, 5 dollar box at Wal-Mart, or on Netflix. This week I finally got around to watching Resident Evil 5. It is the latest installment in the series with the 6th one being slated for a release in 2014.

Story line: The Umbrella Corporation's deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race's last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex.

Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by new found allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.

My Thoughts:

The movie starts with Alice in an explosive fight sequence from the last movie as the Arcadia boat is being attacked by the Umbrella Corporation. Alice is captured during the fight and wakes up in the underwater hive controlled by the Red Queen. Yes the evil little girl from the first movie is back and has gone more rogue.

Alice wakes up wearing just two sheets of paper like the second movie. I did giggle at this. The director most enjoy putting Milla in sheets of paper and telling her to act in it. I appreciate it as I have a girl crush on her so it is okay with me.

The movie explained how the virus spread so quickly and it as always comes down to money and who had it. Which is sad but it does say a lot about our society. It was enjoyable to see some of the old actors back like Michelle Rodriguez (Rain) and Oded Fehr (Carlos). The writer does a great job of explaining how all these dead characters are back. It is simple, clones. They cloned Alice and everyone else to use in experiments.

The movie has some new comers. Barry Burton (Kevin Durand – and he is even wearing red!), Johann Urb (Leon S. Kennedy), and Bingbing Li (Ada Wong). I was excited for Barry and the actor did a great job with him in my opinion.

The movie had the appropriate amount of action and it was fun to watch my Resident Evil characters. The movie ended with Alice having her powers given back and being faced with the fight of her life. She must return to where it all began. I guess the 6th installment will be the last in the series and I look forward to seeing how it all ends.

Am I the only one excited for the next movie?

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Review

Hi Everyone,

My dear friend Jasmine invited me to the movies with her and her friends and I was happy to go. I truly enjoyed the first installment of The Hobbit and I was looking forward to the second one of the three part series.

Storyline: The journey of title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch). Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen), Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakensheild (Richard Armitage). Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring that aides him in the journey. After successfully crossing over (and under) the Misty Mountains, Thorin and Company must seek aid from a powerful stranger before taking on the dangers of Mirkwood Forest--without their Wizard. If they reach the human settlement of Lake-town it will be time for the hobbit Bilbo Baggins to fulfill his contract with the dwarves.

My Thoughts:

I saw the movie in Imax 3D to get the full effects. I must admit I enjoyed that there were actually 3D effects. There were things that came at me and really helped me to feel like I was in the movie. The overall visual effects were well done and the colors were crisp. The dragon was creepy on a whole other level with 3D effects and the attention to detail when constructing the monster. I am sure the director, Peter Jackson was very happy with the end product.

The movie was surprisingly action packed. I mean I was really surprised about the amount of action and fighting occurred. The Elves are back with a vengeance. We see our friend Legolas (Orlando Bloom) a lot along with a new comer, Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly). The elves are running around killing everything from spiders to Orcs that I almost want to rename the whole movie to The Hobbit: Legolas is awesome. He literally jumps on the dwarves' heads while they ride down a river and kills Orcs with a sword or arrow. He does amazing fight sequences along with Tauriel that I almost forget that the hobbit is supposed to be the star.

The Hobbit was a very short book but Jackson has really found a way to make this story into a trilogy without it feeling disjointed.

The Spider scene was great. Watching the characters lose their way on their journey was sad and then to be captured by spiders of all creatures was amazing. My friend Jasmine is afraid of spiders and had to turn away during the whole scene but if spiders do not bother you then you will enjoy it. If they do scare you then turn away as well.

The dragon - from visual effects, to movement, to voice acting was perfect. I felt like I met a dragon. He moved with almost a snake like slither and gave off the proper amount of sinister. He made you feel like any shiny bauble you may have, he will take it.

Overall the movie was fun and I would recommend it if you enjoy that type of movie. If you enjoy action then there is more than enough for you to come away satisfied. Check the movie out and let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Smash Bros: Rosalina and Luma

Hello Everyone,

Another Nintendo Direct has occurred and a new fighter is approaching!

Rosalina and Luma will be in the new installment of Smash Bros for the Wii U and 3DS. The double act will work together during battles, much like the Ice Climbers. Rosalina will use her wand for various physical and magical attacks, while Luma becomes involved in a host of different special moves, such as firing Rosalina into the air via a launch star or acting as a mobile shield.

While I am excited to see Rosalina I believe she will have a similar fighting feel to Princess Peach. Am I the only one that thinks like this? I will also admit that my heart is now heavy since these two have been announced. I sincerly worry about the fate of my Ice Climbers. If we have this duo then they might not think they need the Ice Climbers.

Do I need to start a petition to save my favorite fighters. If so will you sign it?

Oh and I was informed that Gamestop is now taking preorders for Smash Bros but I did not get confirmation of this yet. However they are taking orders for Mario Kart. Rosalina is also making an appearance in this installment. Leave comments and share your thoughts.

Gamer Corner: Ruth

Welcome to this week's installment of Gamer Corner, where Fangirl Review interviews a gamer and gets her thoughts on the gaming world and learn what she is enjoying at the moment.

Tell me a little bit about yourself?

My Name is Ruth, I’m a Electrical Engineer, and I enjoy playing Video games, and blogging about it.

What rig do you currently game on?

I currently play on my PlayStation 3, but I can’t wait to get my hands on a PlayStation 4 soon.

What game are you currently playing right now?

Skyrim, Battlefield 3, and Batman: Arkham City

Do you enjoy that game, why? How’s the overall game play?

I really enjoy RPG’s, FPS, and comics books, so all of the games I’m currently playing I really like. Skyrim allows me to dungeon crawl, Battlefield lets me shoot’em up, and Batman is one of the best comic book game made on the market.

Would you recommend it?

I would totally recommend these games. If anyone wanted a RPG I would point you to Skyrim. If they wanted a first person shooter, I would tell you about Battlefield, and if they wanted a good old comic book game, I would sit you in down in front of Batman.

Are there any games coming out that you are looking forward to?

Battlefield 4 and Watchdog.

What kind of gamer do you classify yourself to be? ie. PC, Console, Tabletop, LARP as well as Hardcore, RPG, etc.

I am a hardcore console player.

So with the new consoles coming out, which way are you leaning One or 4? (Ignore if you are a PC gamer)

PlayStation 4

What are your thoughts on the gaming industry?

I think the gaming industry is getting over clouded by the money, because games are coming out too unfinished lately. There are too many day-one patches, and a lot of games have come out with broken mechanics on release day making me wonder if the games are being pushed out the door.

If you had the power, what direction would you have the gaming industry go?

I think the gaming industry has done a lot to make games more inviting. It’s not even consider geeky anymore to have a console in your living room. So if I had the power to change the direction the gaming industry was going in, I wouldn’t. There doing fine.

10 years from now, where do you see the industry? Are you happy with that direction?

I see the industry playing a huge part in our lives, since no matter where you go in the world people value their living rooms. I can totally see bitcoins and google wallet and other things being a part of the industry, allowing us to do more with our consoles than just playing video game.

Favorite Game (can include tabletop) of all time and why?

Final Fantasy 8, because I spent so many summer nights waking up and going to sleep to that game, that it is apart of my childhood.

Would you like to share your gamer tag and the system so others may add you?

Truth_7 on the PS3

Thank you to Ruth for a fantastic interview. If you would like to be interviewed for Gamer Corner please contact me at fangirlcontact@gmail.com.

Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies Review

Hey Everyone,

Finally I can share with you my thoughts on the latest installment in the Phoenix Wright series.

First of all I am sure you can scan back through my archives to see how excited I was to play this game. I must admit that I enjoyed my time at NY Comic Con at the Phoenix Wright Booth.

Okay so the game, it has an overall good game play. You can yell objection if you so desire. The game is well done. I played the previous games as well as the Miles spinoff but did not get a chance to play the Apollo spinoff. I felt a little lost due to not knowing the character while playing so I would recommend playing that game so you can understand all the dynamics and where a lot of the new characters came from.

The new to me girl, Athena Cykes, is a fun character and because she studied analytical psychology, she can tell if someone's emotion does not match with the appropriate emotion. It took a second for the concept to grow on me but I did find it fun to use. Trying to figure out the emotions of those on the stand added a good dynamic. Plus Athena is easily stumped at times like Phoenix which is always fun to see.

Yes our friend the Judge is back. He is bald as ever with an awesome beard. The 3D effects make the game look smooth and sleek. I truly felt as though I was in the court room and quickly found myself having to stop to charge the device because I was playing for too long. The story lines of each trial is fun as always and intricate and intertwined. I like the various brain teasers that this series always produces. I enjoy a little bit of thinking with my games and if you are like me then this is the game to pick up.

The series continues to get better and I would recommend picking up this game only if you have played the other ones. If you have not then do it so you understand the dynamics. This series truly builds on each game and ties them all together. Oh, by the way there is a Phoenix Wright movie, I would recommend playing the first game and then watching the movie and you will see how great this whole series is. The only drawback to the series is when you get stumped then you are stuck until you figure it out but that is not really a drawback.

Play the game and leave your thoughts in the comments.

Smash Bros: Skull Kid Trophy Assist Revealed

The assist trophy element is coming back to the upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U video game, Smash Bros. According to Masahiro Sakurai provided a first look at Skull Kid in the crossover fighting title. The mask-wearing individual first appeared as an antagonist in the Nintendo 64 video game, “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask”.

"Here’s a new Assist Trophy–the Skull Kid! I repeat, it’s an Assist Trophy, not a new fighter. The characters announced on the website are the fighters!" - Sakurai.

Assist Trophies were first introduced with the release of SSBB on the Nintendo Wii. By picking up small statue items, players can summon a special attack from a non-playable character. This mechanic should work in a similar manner in the new installment. which is currently in development.

The forthcoming Nintendo-platform exclusive title is expected to hit the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U sometime next year. There are rumors and misquotes about an exact release date for the game so we all wait and check the website daily.

Once Upon a Time S3, Ep. 11 “Going Home” Review

Important Moments:

Pan begins the curse in Storybrooke. Pan has to take Felix’s heart to complete the spell. Rumple lets them know that they can undo the spell by having Regina destroy the scroll. The gang splits up. They have to switch Henry and Pan back into the correct bodies. Pan’s shadow shows up as Neal, Tinkerbell, Hook, and Charming try to get the Black Fairy’s wand. Flashback: Snow is pregnant and talking to the Blue Fairy. She is concerned that sending Emma away will not work. She is sad that Emma will never get to know the life they set up for her.  Flashback: Hook is on the island and is looking for the dagger to kill Rumple. He is ambushed by Tinkerbell. They share some rum and Hook says how he is determined to kill Rumple.

Hook decides to be a distraction to the shadow so they can try to capture it but in the end Tinkerbell has to make the fairy dust work and trap Pan’s shadow. She tosses the shadow into the fire after capturing it. Blue is revived after the shadow is dead. Tinkerbell gets her wings back and Blue provides them with the wand. Rumple performs the spell on Henry so he can switch back to his proper body. Everyone leaves to go find Henry.

Flashback of Henry being at school. Snow tries to comfort Henry who is upset about not being loved by his birth mom or adopted mother. Snow gives Henry the book about fairy tales that Snow found in her closet and says she has never seen the book before. She reminds Henry to hope for a happy ending. Henry has a flash of seeing Mary Margaret as Snow White. Present time they find Henry who promptly gives the scroll back to Regina. There is a flash and she passes out. Pan wakes up and is able to take the cuff off since he made it. He puts the cuff on Rumple. Pan plans on destroying everyone and Rumple is now powerless to stop it.

Flashback: Rumple is lighting a candle for his son. Belle walks in and tries to give condolences for Rumple's son. Rumple says he can never have a happy ending. Present Day Rumple is without magic. Regina wakes up and Pan is free and takes the curse. Pan freezes them in place. Rumple says that happiness is possible for Belle and Neal just not with him. He says I love you to Belle and Neal. Rumple calls forth his shadow. He says they only way for Pan to die is if they both die. He stabs Pan and himself with the knife. Pan reverts back to his true self and they both die together. Everyone becomes unfrozen once they are gone.

They all look to Regina to stop the curse. The price for stopping the curse is that it destroys Storybrooke. Everyone will go back to the enchanted forest except Henry who was born in this world. Emma has to stay with Henry and is the only one with the ability to stay. Flashback to Emma giving birth and refusing to see Henry. Present day - Everyone is at the town line to say goodbye. Regina lets Emma know that she will lose her memories of all of them. Regina can give her and Henry new memories so they will be happy. Regina destroys the scroll as they drive away and the town disappears. Flashback to Emma giving birth. She decides to hold the baby this time and keeps him. One Year Later: Emma is making breakfast for Henry as they live in Boston. There is a knock at the door. Hook shows up at the door saying that Emma's family is in danger. He tries to kiss her to get her to remember but Emma knees him and shuts the door. End.

My Thoughts:

It was good that Tinkerbell was able to earn back her wings. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy Tinkerbell with a harden edge but I like that she will now be in full powers. I understand that everyone wants to see Henry back in his own body but shouldn’t some people stay and watch over Pan or at least put him in jail. A little cuff that stops his magic is not enough in my opinon. I am not surprised that Pan is able to just take the cuff off and now Rumple has no magic. How foolish was it of all of them to leave Rumple alone to go see Henry. I can understand most of them but there was no reason for Belle to leave. They know Pan is very dangerous and they do not think to secure him in multiple ways.

Great ending. I was wondering when we will get back to the enchanted forest. I wonder if Regina will now meet Robin Hood who is supposed to be the love of her life. Will she now patch things up with Snow or will she go back to the feud? I look forward to seeing Mulan again. She quickly became one of my favorite characters. It should be interesting to see everyone back in their true world. In the previews they have the Wicked Witch of the West coming to the Enchanted Forest. I look forward to seeing the dynamic she will bring. I am sure Regina will try to be reformed and will have to fight against the Witch. This should be fun.

She shoves her head in a dishwater filled sink and proceeded to stab her in the head repeatedly with a fork. The sheriff finds Gemma and lets her know that Tara did not rat and she killed her for no reason. Juice comes in and kills the sheriff before he can call it in.

Jax is saying bye to everyone. Everyone is sad and crying as Jax is going to turn himself in. Wendy is sitting in rehab. Wayne is smoking and Gemma drives up in his truck. She seeks comfort from Wayne. The Mayans, Lin, and Niro sit down to talk. Juice is disposing of the evidence from the crime scene. Jax shows up at home finds Tara and the sheriff dead.  Jax holds her body to him and cries. The DA walks in and sees the scene.

My Thoughts: Opening sequence of images was well done. It always breaks my heart when they mention Opie. He was awesome and you can see how much Jax is broken without his friend. The whole Juice situation has been brewing for awhile. We all know that he is on the edge and he keeps getting pushed. I wasn’t surprised when he fell apart.

I am happy that Tara and Jax are able to come back together. They are a messy couple but it is good that in the end they are able to work together to make things right. I am sure that Gemma will be upset when she realizes she will be losing her son and grandsons. My heart broke when Jax told Juice that he betrayed him. This man is already on the edge.

Wow! Gemma killed Tara in a brutal horrible way! I was not prepared for that and I knew Juice was going to kill the sheriff. It looks like the DA will try to take Jax down for the killing. The question is will Gemma come forward for what she did. The ballistics will not match so the DA is going to have to drop the charges quick. I understand that Jax needs to lose a lot to become the man he is destined to be but to lose Tara will break something inside him. It was a overall great season and I look forward to Season 7.
