I wanted to take a moment and reflect on how excited I am for the latest installment of Ys. I fell in love with Ys VIII. I know I was late to the franchise but when I picked up the video game for my Nintendo Switch it was the most amazing thing ever. Now I am addicted to the franchise and I cannot wait for the latest one. I just have to sadly accept that I will have to purchase it for the PS4 as it comes on there first.

Episode Two of Telltale's 'Batman: The Enemy Within' Coming September 26

Citizens of Gotham City,

Just in time for Gamescom, we're excited to announce that episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within will be available for download starting September 26. The second of five episodes, 'The Pact' launches September 26 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Additionally, both episodes one and two will become available on iOS and Android-based devices that same day.

TellTale happy to confirm that, yes, Harley Quinn will debut in episode two. In keeping with our efforts to create our own unique take on the Batman canon, we've worked hard to craft an interpretation of the character that captures her essential qualities while still framing her in a new way. Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale's vision of Batman features an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker, who returns to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, as well as Anthony Ingruber, who reprises his fresh take on John Doe, better known to fans as The Joker.

This new season will be accessible to both returning fans and newcomers alike, though players' choices from the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series will optionally carry over into The Enemy Within. This season will also include Telltale's unique multiplayer 'Crowd Play' feature, which allows friends and family to engage with the adventure together by helping to decide the direction of the story from any mobile device with an online connection.

Batman: The Enemy Within is a standalone product separate from the first season of Batman - The Telltale Series. It will be available at retailers across North America on October 3 on a special 'Season Pass Disc' for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The disc will include the first episode of the season, as well as access to download all subsequent episodes through an online connection as the episodes are released.

Batman: The Enemy Within is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and based on DC's iconic character. Episode two, 'The Pact,' has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

WNBA Teams to Make Official Video Game Debut in NBA LIVE 18

EA Offers Roster of WNBA Teams and Players

Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) announced that WNBA teams and players* will be playable in NBA LIVE 18, launching this fall on Xbox One and PlayStation®4. The WNBA will be available in WNBA Play Now, and teams and player skills have been specifically balanced to reflect the unique playstyle of the league and skills of its players. This is the first time the official WNBA’s roster of teams and players will appear in a video game, and will be available only in NBA LIVE 18.

EA Announces FE Coming Early 2018

Uncover the Mysteries of Nature on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch

Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) announced that the EA Originals title Fe will be launching worldwide in early 2018. Developed by the award-winning Swedish studio Zoink Games, Fe is a new type of wordless platformer full of sounds. Through Fe, a small cub that suddenly awakes in the forest, players will discover a world they will never want to leave as they use sound to communicate, connect with nature, identify friendly and unfriendly creatures and interpret their own narrative along the way.

Take a first look at the Wildspire Waste Area in Monster Hunter: World!

Monster Hunter: World has a brand new location, Wildspire Waste. A massive, dry expanse with swamplands, this particular area of the New World sees creatures who inhabit the areas adapting to survive.

Monster Hunter: World sees players take on the role of a hunter that completes various quests to hunt and slay monsters within a lively living and breathing eco-system full of predators…. and prey. In the new video you can see some more of the creatures you can expect to come across upon adventuring on your quest. These magnificent beasts include the likes of the Kulu-Ya-Ku, a bird like creature that is often seen stealing other monsters’ eggs from the Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste. The giant Barroth is a returning Monster Hunter series favorite and can be found marking its territory with mud as it wanders in search of its favorite snack – ants. Don’t be fooled by its taste for smaller meals though, this creature will charge anyone or anything that invades its territory and only the bravest of hunters can take on the challenge to bring it down.

Nintendo Announces Special Edition for Fire Emblem Warriors and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon Dual Pack

Fans Can Pick Up Both This Fall

During the GameStop Expo in Las Vegas, Nintendo announced a special edition of the Fire Emblem Warriors game for the Nintendo Switch system and a dual pack of the Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon games for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Both will be available this fall in the Americas, and will come with a variety of items sure to provide game fans with lots of additional entertainment.

The details are as follows:“The incredible fans of the Fire Emblem and Pokémon franchises not only love the games themselves, but also the features behind the games,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “These special versions are great options for dedicated fans who want to enjoy all facets of their favorite series, from amazing gameplay to bonus artwork.”

Resident Evil Revelations Drops Anchor, Boards PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Now!

The acclaimed survival horror game Resident Evil Revelations debuts on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One across North America digitally and at retail today for MSRP $19.99. Known for its narrative twists and turns, the story unravels like a television show, told in an episodic format as more of the mysterious plot is revealed from the perspective of several different playable characters. More Than 100 Indie Games in the Works for Nintendo Systems

Indie Developers Show Support for Nintendo Switch with a Surge of Upcoming Games

The already robust library of Nintendo Switch games is about to get even more diverse. In a new Nindies Showcase video, Nintendo detailed 20 of the many indie games that are coming to the hit console. Some of these Nindies* include new games in the beloved Super Meat Boy and Shovel Knight franchises, as well as indie collaborations in games like Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes from Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture.

“We love the creativity, passion and amazing response that our independent developer community has already shown for Nintendo Switch,” said Damon Baker, Nintendo of America’s Senior Manager for Publisher & Developer Relations. “It’s great to see so many different developers creating new, unique experiences that take advantage of the hardware’s features. This is a win for fans, who will have access to an even wider selection of great indie content to take wherever they go.”

To celebrate all these upcoming indie games, Nintendo is bringing back the Nindies@Night event at this year’s PAX West in Seattle. The free event takes place at Museum of Pop Culture on Aug. 31 from 8:30 p.m. to midnight PT.
