Marvel Universe Live Review

Marvel Universe Live is a Theatrical Production stemming from the successful Marvel Studio Based Films. The show focuses on The X-Men, Avengers, and Spiderman (Sorry No Guardians). The script takes pieces from past movies and combines them to produce a decent show.

Be warned, this is not an adult created event. The target audience are the 3 -13 years old and their parents who knocks them over for a seat. My son is 11 and he consistently mentioned wiring to support the actors whole performance = bored. The are no slow spots during the show. I do suggest to make sure to be on time because our show was 3:30pm and it is punctual. There is a 15 minute intermission allowing for breakdown and build up of the stage.

The finale of the show (and what people were waiting on) was the transformation of the Hulk. The creators came up with a creative Green behemoth that does not disappoint. If you have children between the ages 3 - 13 and they love superheroes then I highly recommend to see The Marvel Universe Live. The roadshow schedule is online and they make it a point that any angle in the arena are good viewing locations. I have attached a few shots of the show - enjoy. True Blood S7 Ep.10 “Thank You” SERIES FINALE

Recap: Jessica and Hoyt get married.  Bill leaves his house to Andy in his will, so Jessica and Hoyt can live there when he dies.  Pam and Eric set Gus on fire, kill his men, and take Sarah.  They plan to sell New Blood themselves.  Sookie agrees to kill Bill, but does not want to use the last of her powers to do it, so she stakes him.

Three years later: Everyone gathers for a Thanksgiving dinner.  Jason and Bridget are together with children.  Jessica and Hoyt are still together.  Sam and his wife are also still together, as are Lafayette and James.  Sookie is pregnant and seems happy with a man.  We never get to fully see his face.  Eric and Pam are famous and successful because of New Blood.  They continue to keep Sarah chained up, so vampires can feed off of her.

Review: I was very disappointed with the series finale of True Blood.  Bill is finally killed by Sookie at his request.  If she wasn’t going to use her powers to kill him, he could have just died from the Hep-V, but I guess this makes it more dramatic.  I wish we would have been able to fully see who Sookie ended up with, but I guess since it wasn’t an existing character, it really doesn't matter.  The finale seemed rushed and thrown together.  Although this is not the first time a series finale has felt this way to me, it is certainly one of the biggest letdowns.  This final season was not what I expected it to be, so there really weren’t many choices on how to end it.

Farewell to True Blood.  Thank you for seven seasons.

My question this week is: Are you satisfied with the ending?

Please let me know what your comments or thoughts are.

Teen Wolf S4, Ep, 10 "Monstrous" Recap

Important Moments: Show starts with a woman being and man being chased. There are arrows flying and they end up in the middle of the football field. Kira jumps out of nowhere and slashes all the arrows and tells the couple to run. Stiles is in the hospital recovering. Stiles has the tape from Mrs. Martin and asks for a tape player from Mrs. McCall. Mr. Stilinski is trying to interrogate Meredith. Lydia questions if she is competent enough to be charged. They realize they need to stop the money not just the dead pool. Wolves are now hanging out at the vet shop. Kira and Scott have a moment. Argent kicks in a door at some undisclosed location and had awesome music as he takes out a couple of people. He finds a yellow flower and is staring at it. Malis walks in to visit Stiles at the hospital. It is a little awkward and sad between them. The door is locked by Mrs. McCall. Which gives Stiles and Malia a chance to talk things out. It is so cute as they start to hook up. Argent is walking again and opening a safe with awesome music behind him. He puts the yellow plant in the safe and then notices boot prints. Scott brings the pack to Argent's.

Stiles and Malia are listening to the tape of Lydia's grandmother. Lydia is interrogating Meredith or my like talking at her. Meredith breaks her silence by saying she wanted to help. She says she will talk but only to Peter Hale. Malia can hear the record player in the background. They believed Lorraine predicted the dead pool and they think there is a way to stop it at the lake house. Scott calls Braedan and Derek to help protect the pack. Peter sits down to talk to Meredith who touches his face. Meredith is amazed that his burns are all gone. They met before. Peter does not remember meeting Meredith. She claims he told her to keep it a secret. He uses his claws to see her memories.

Flash back to Meredith after the experiment that Lydia's grandmother did. Lydia can understand the gibberish that Meredith is speaking. Meredith was in the same hospital as Peter. Meredith could hear every thought in his head. Peter talked about the fire and getting revenge. Peter wanted to take out all of the supernatural and will hire the professionals. He mentions names and the desert wolf as possible assassins. He says how he will use the money. Peter breaks the link. It was Peter's idea the whole time and he didn't even know it. Back at the lake house, Stiles gives up on the record player and stops playing it. Malia says she can still hear something else spinning. Stiles finds another cord in the wall. He begins pulling it and tearing apart the wall. They find another room with tapes running. Standoff at the warehouse. Everyone is fighting the hunters that have become hired guns.

Mr. Stilinski wants to shoot Peter. Lydia says it is no use and to let Peter go. Mr. Stilinski says that's twice and there will not be a third. Meredith starts screaming that it is not finished. Malia and Stiles realize to stop the dead pool they need a key. They are able to find the key in a wine bottle with the help of Lydia. It is the same wine that she spilled on the floor the night of the party. Scott starts to kill the guy that was about to shoot a wolf and his face starts to change making him even more of a monster. Everything stops and there is a phone ringing on the guy. Scott reads it and shows him. It says that the contracts have been terminated by the benefactor. Back at the police station Lydia asks Meredith if she is okay. Meredith put her name on the list because she heard Lydia scream. She knew it was the right time to start over. She believes that Peter is an Alpha and will make it right. Meredith believes she is a monster.  Lydia says not all monsters do monstrous things. (There's the name of the episode). Lydia touches Meredith face and says oh god what did she done. Peter is talking to Kate. Peter is nervous and he says that everything did not work as predicted. Kate questions if he wants to bail on the plan. Peter says no because he is so close to killing Scott McCall.

My Thoughts: Great show with a lot of stuff happening. We now know that the benefactor was an old computer and Meredith listening to the rantings of Peter. Well done Teen Wolf. We know that Peter wants to kill Scott to become Alpha. I do not think it will work this way since Scott is a True Alpha. It might not work the same.

I wonder what Meredith saw when she touched Lydia. This show is so great and it is well thought out. So we still have to see the show down with Peter and Scott. We still need to know what Kate did to Derek and if it can be reversed. I cannot wait to see where the show goes.

Seconds: A Graphic Novel

The Serenity prayer says, “God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.” But what if you didn't have to accept the things you couldn't change? What if there was a way to fix the things you wanted change from your past? Would know what would make your life better? Would you even like the new life your change created? These are questions encountered by Seconds main character Katie.

Katie is an amazing chef who is in the process of opening her own restaurant while living in the upstairs apartment of the current successful restaurant she runs. Then in the span of one night things start to go sour with her new restaurants progress coming to a halt, her ex-boyfriend showing up and one of her waitresses getting seriously hurt. That’s when a mysterious young girl shows up and offers Katie a mushroom with simple instructions: 1. Write down your mistake. 2. Ingest one mushroom. 3. Go to sleep. 4. Wake anew.  This opens Katie’s world to the possibilities of fixing all of her missteps. Unfortunately Katie learns that your missteps are just as important in making you the people you are as your successes, and you can’t change these things without changing who you are.

I really loved this book, just like I loved O’Malley’s previous work with the Scott Pilgrim series. I felt that Scott Pilgrim spoke to me as I was approaching full-fledged adulthood and now Seconds is speaks to me as I progress through adulthood. I can relate to Katie as she is undertaking new things in her career and I admit I occasionally look back at my life and wonder, “What if?” but I also consider that I  happy and I wouldn't want to change anything that changes where I am now. It was a great read watching Katie come to the same conclusion that I did, but you know I didn't have any magic mushrooms to help me get there.

Norman Reedus Video Game

Hello Everyone,

Yes you read the title correctly. In case you missed Gamescon 2014 it is okay. Check out trailer below.

As you can see in the trailer you have The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus walking down an abandoned street. The Metal Gear Solid Creator, Hideo Kojima, and the awesome Guillermo Del Toro (Pacific Rim) will be teaming up to make this installment in the Konami's Silent Hill universe. Silent Hills looks like it may be fun and definitely creepy.

We have not heard that there will be a console exclusivity or release date but I am sure all you Walking Dead fans are excited for this game.

The Maze Runner: Book to Movie Review

Amazon Storyline: If you ain’t scared, you ain’t human. When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers—boys whose memories are also gone. Nice to meet ya, shank. Welcome to the Glade. Outside the towering stone walls that surround the Glade is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out—and no one’s ever made it through alive. Everything is going to change. Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying. Remember. Survive. Run.

My Thoughts: I have challenged a few friends from work to read the book with me so we can all see the movie together. I must admit we all struggled at the beginning. The author's desire to be vague and mysterious to pull the reader in left the reader feeling confused and not feeling like reading the book. Once you push through the first hundred pages you are fine and it is smooth sailing through the other two books as well. The book is great post-apocalyptic fun and a great Trilogy to read.

You really begin to identify with the main character, Thomas, and truly become invested in him. I like that the main character of this book is a male. While I do enjoy the young adult books with females, I really enjoy the books with male leads. It is great to read something different. The trailer for the movie based on the book looks like it will be good and will stay overall close to the book. Thomas is being played by Dylan O'Brien from Teen Wolf. The movie is set to be released on September 19, 2014. I am looking forward to it. I know that they will keep turning out young adult movies based on books as long as they keep making money.

What are your thoughts? Is there a book that you would like see turned into a movie?

Teen Wolf S4, Ep. 9 "Perishable" Recap

Important Moments: Show starts with Deputy Parrish in his police car. It is being covered with gasoline. One of his coworkers is going to kill him by setting him on fire. He gets set on fire. Hence the name of the show Perishable.... Stiles and Lydia tells Mr. Stilinski about their theory about Lydia's grandmother being alive and is or working with the benefactor. In walks a naked and burnt Parrish into Police Headquarters. Parrish beats up the cop that tried to kill him. Parrish is with Derrik, Scott, and Lydia. They are confused about what he is. Scott shows off his red eyes. Mr. Stilinski is in the hospital as he caught a stray bullet during the fight. Apparently Mr. Stilinski is having money problems. Parrish asks a great question on how easy is it to get the list.

Liam's printer is going off. It prints out who is already dead on the list. Lydia mentions to the gang that Meredith was at her Grandmother's lake house once and never went back. Apparently Lydia's Grandmother found Meredith because of a friend, Maddy. Apparently Lydia's Grandmother worked at IBM and started hearing the sound of rain but is was clear and sunny outside. The loud rain caused her to scream. Her Grandmother called Maddy. There was an accident and Maddy died. They built a study in the Lake House to understand what was going on with her. They brought Meredith in to the study and they almost killed her. Lydia says her grandmother drove Meredith insane and Lydia drove her to suicide.

Parrish is still confused as to what he is. Stiles adds the picture of Lydia's Grandmother to his board. Derek is told that his name unlocked the list. Scott is concerned that he is a dead man walking. Scott returns to his bedroom and thinks some of the money is missing so he recounts it. Liam walks into the school being paranoid. Liam keeps reliving the Beserker attack and is spooked. Stiles and Lydia attempt to crack the code. They crack the code and its a list of names. Scott checks in with Liam to see what is wrong with him. Liam mentions the printer drama. The printer at the school is going off and the printer with Stiles is spitting out the list as well. Derek's name is not on the list and Liam is no longer worth 3 million but is now 18 million.

Parrish helps Lydia and Stiles and they note it is a dead pool of people that have already died. They all died of suicide at the insane asylum that Meredith was at. Scott is at the bonfire to make sure no one gets hurt. Malia is getting drunk at the bonfire and so is Liam. They should not be able to as they are Weres and Scott is concerned. Lydia and Stiles go to bride the mean orderly at the crazy house. Lydia wrote Stiles name on the list and when he asks why in comes the orderly with a stun gun. The orderly has a tape with Lydia's Grandmother's name on it as he killed her grandmother. Scott is starting to get affected as well. Scott realizes the music is affecting them. Lydia listens to the tape. Lydia's Grandmother begs for him not to hurt Aerial which is what Lydia called herself and used to unlock the code from the grandmother. The orderly never understood that part of the tape. Parrish comes in and saves the day by shooting the orderly. He killed the grandmother and used Meredith to create the deadpool according to Lydia. He killed Meredith when she tried to help them. The orderly says that Meredith was controlling him. Lydia realizes that the orderly is not the benefactor. In walks Meredith saying that the orderly was not on her list but he was a bad person.

Scott, Liam, and Malia are carried into the school by security. They are dosed in gasoline. Liam's friend steps up and unplugs the music. Braeden and Derek show up and beat up the security. Scott, Liam, and Malia are saved.

My Thoughts: I guess we are not going to address that Scott was just dead last week. Derek's name might have been removed from the list as he is no longer supernatural which is my theory.

Problem - Every Joe Smoe looking for a pay day will now be after the supernaturals as we saw with the cop that did not know what he was doing. The potential for collateral damage is high.

Okay so what do you think Parrish is? A phoenix or a Jinn? He did not get burned. He has to be something that fire cannot hurt.

Share your thoughts in the comments.

Movie Review: Expendables 3

IMDB Storyline: Barney (Sylvester Stallone), Christmas (Jason Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill... or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables' most personal battle yet.

My thoughts: Okay I am going to be honest this movie did not pass my RLS test. This movie was just over 2 hours and I will be honest it needed to have about 45 minutes cut from that. The movie lagged in so many places I thought I was playing Call of Duty. There were times that I wanted to jump up and walk around because I could not focus. This is saying a lot as I enjoy explosions and shooting fun. While I did enjoy all the new and old blood, the movie lacked the spark that the previous movies had. This movie had the addition of the awesome Wesley Snipes that they break out of jail. You had Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammar, Harrison Ford, and Antonio Banderas added for fun. Also the young blood of Victor Ortiz (best known for boxing against Mayweather), Kellan Lutz (Twilight and Hercules), Ronda Rousey (MMA fighter), and Glen Powell (Yeah, I couldn't find any important roles for this dude).

The new with the old aspect was cool for half a minute but then gets old. The movie overall was just okay. It overall lacked a decent storyline. I would say not to spend full ticket price for this one. Go check it out at Matinee prices.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

True Blood S7 Ep.9 “Love Is to Die”

Recap: Bill refuses to drink from Sarah and says that he chooses to die. Bill releases Jessica.  Sookie and Jessica find out that Sam left and they let everyone else know.  Everyone is gathered at Bellefleur’s for dinner.  Later, Eric tries to convince Bill to live for Sookie’s sake.  Bill explains that dying is the only way he set Sookie free.  Eric tells Sookie that she needs to talk to Bill.  Ginger finally gets her wish when Eric says he will have sex with her.  Pam gets herself in trouble when she plots to sell Sarah’s blood.  Eric is forced to admit that Sookie knows about Sarah’s blood.  Bill goes to Sookie’s house.

Hoyt and Bridget argue about him not wanting to have kids.  She questions him about Jessica and of course, Jessica shows up.  Jessica starts to tell Hoyt about their past.  Bridget tells him that if he continues to listen, it’s over between them.  He walks out on Bridget.  Bridget calls Jason to come get her.  When Jason arrives, Hoyt punches him because Jessica has told him everyone that happened between the three of them.  Bridget drives Jason back to his house.  Jason tells Bridget about Hoyt and Jessica.  Hoyt and Jessica sleep together.  Jason and Bridget lay in the same bed, but don’t have sex.  They end up just talking.

Review: That “almost sex scene” with Eric and Ginger was not sexy at all.  I was cracking up.  Nice to see Hoyt and Jessica back together again.  Jason may have finally learned how to just be friends with a woman. With only one episode left, I guess it doesn’t really matter what happens.

Let’s just add to the body count.

My question this week is: Will Bill finally die next week?  One episode left!

Please let me know what your comments or thoughts are.

Smash Bros: Meta Knight Announced

Hey Everyone,

If you are like me you are constantly waiting for the Smash Bros site to update itself and reveal a new character. This week we were graced with Meta Knight.

Meta Knight is a small character but is extremely fast and hard to KO if you can play the light weighted character correctly. Meta's dash speed and rolls are fast and his roll is considered the fasted in previous games. Meta's low power hits are easily overcome by using quick combos as he has minimal lag for his hits. While Meta may lack a projectile he makes up for it with his Mach Tornado move.

Okay we are getting closer and closer to the 3DS release date. What characters are you still hoping for?

True Blood S7 Ep.8 “Almost Home”

Recap: Eric drinks from Sarah to heal from the Hep-V virus.  Mr. Gus discusses his plan to make a continuous profit from the Hep-V cure with Pam and Eric.  Sookie goes to Eric and Mr. Gus to get the cure for Bill.  Mr. Gus directs his men to kill her.  Eric pretends to glamour her to save her life.  Sookie finds Sarah, but she doesn’t tell her that she is the cure.  Sookie has to learn this from reading her mind.  Sookie leaves her in captivity instead of saving her.  She goes to get Bill and brings him to Sarah.  Bill refuses to drink from Sarah.

Lafayette and Lettie Mae continue to dig to look for whatever Tara is trying to show them. They convince the reverend to help them. They get a glimpse of the abuse the family endured at the hands of Tara’s father.  It is revealed that Tara was going to shoot her father when she was a child, but instead she buried the gun.  When Lettie Mae finds the buried gun, Tara tells her that she is sorry for not pulling the trigger.  Lettie Mae apologizes for her actions.  Tara tells her to forgive herself.

Jason goes to Violet’s house to rescue Jessica, Adilyn, and Wade.  He ends up getting captured himself.  Hoyt rescues them all and kills Violet.  Hoyt falls in love with Jessica… again.

Review: Violet’s revenge plan was ruined.  It figures…  Hoyt ends up being the hero and falls in love with Jessica again.  That was pretty funny.  Finally, Lafayette and Lettie Mae find what Tara has been trying to show them..  I guess I expected more than that. What’s the deal with Bill?  Does he really want to die because he sees no future of a real family with Sookie?

As usual, everything revolves around Sookie I guess.

My question this week is: Is Bill going to die?

Please let me know what your comments or thoughts are.

Teen Wolf S4, ep. 8 "Time of Death" Recap

Important Moments: Episode starts with Malia and Stiles trying to sleep in the bed. It results in Malia spooning Stiles. It is quite funny. Then Stiles wakes up realizing that it is not real and he is alone. Mr. McCall is doing his report at the police station. Scott waits at the police station for him. Mr. McCall has to go back to San Francisco for a review. There is foreshadowing as McCall says that it is hard to take a man's life. McCall says that when he gets back he wants to know the secret. Stiles, Liam, Kira, and Scott work on a plan to get the benefactor to come to him. Hospital - Liam's father is shocking someone and calls the death. The body on the table is Scott's.

Braeden and Derek are at the loft. She notices that Derek is not healing and his eyes cannot change. Kira, Scott, Liam, and Kira's mother at at Scott's house. She is showing Kira how to make Scott mimic death. Kira puts her hand on his chest and shocks him. At the hospital Mrs. McCall is freaking out. Great show! Mrs. McCall is in on the plan. She is able to feel his heartbeat.

Stiles and Argent reach out to the benefactor saying Scott is dead. They type back and forth with the benefactor until Argent threatens him. Braeden plans to teach Derek how to be a human and fight against the supernatural. Scott is in a dream state. He finds himself at the high school. He sees Liam and follows him a classroom. Of coarse the lights are flickering to add the spooky factor. Scott sees the Mute killing Liam.

Malia is in the Hale vault. She gets a call from Stiles and ignores it. She opens a safe with her name on it. In walks Peter. Lydia is at the boat house. In walks her mother. Mrs. Martin questions what Lydia is doing at the home. Lydia shows her mother the picture of Meredith and she knows her. Liam is back again and Scott is looking at his fangs and realizing he has more teeth. He questions if he is evolving and the Mute kills Liam again.

Hospital Kira and Liam run on the roof questioning what happened to the system at the hospital and run into a berserker. Kira is knocked out and thinks back to before Scott is shocked. They are in bed talking about what their first date will be. Argent is walking the halls and Stiles stays with Scott's body. Braeden shows Derek how to use a gun. She is showing him up and the sexual tension is nice. They hook up. Stiles is calling Argent. Argent is thrown through the doors and in walks Kate. Kate says she wants the body but is not the benefactor. She refuses to say why she wants the body. Malia questions why Peter is a murderer. Malia questions as to why his name is not on the list. He claims that he is not the benefactor. Peter is looking for Malia's mother as the memory was stolen from him by his sister. He knows that she is referred to as a desert wolf which is another name for a coyote.

Mrs. Martin pulls out the ashes of her mother in law. They believed she was crazy because she said she heard things. Lydia's grandmother requested for Lydia to spread her ashes across the lake when she turned 18. The urn is not filled with her grandmother's ashes but rather mountain ash. The whole boat house is made with mountain ash. Argent begs for Kate to take the berserkers and leave as they have a plan. Scott is still in his dream state and the Mute is showing him how to kill Liam. He starts hacking away at him and looks sinsister covered in his blood. Kira brings him back to life. The beserkeer hurt Kira's mother really badly. Kate meets with Peter and says Scott is still alive who says thank God.

Malia shows up to Stiles's house. Stiles tells Malia that she may be related to Peter but she is not like him. Malia is worried that she is going to turn out just like Peter. She walks out. Derek wakes up with Braeden by his side. Kira and Scott are at this house. Kira's mother will be okay. Kira plans to go be with her mother who was transported to a hospital in Palo Alto. Scott thinks the plan did work. He says who doesn't need to see a visual confirmation to know that someone is dead. A banshee. Lydia reads a note from her grandmother. Lydia questions whether her grandmother is really dead. The letter is in the same code that the list was in. Apparently the letter was the last thing that she wrote before her death.

My Thoughts: I had the chance to flesh out my thoughts with a friend from work. He had his theories and I had mine and here is what we came up with.

First wow so Lydia's grandmother is still alive. I do not believe she is the benefactor it would be too easy. I think she may be held captive by the benefactor who is using her powers. She knew what was going to happen and wrote the letter for Lydia for a reason. I also have a theory as to why Peter is not on the list. I think because he already died he may not be considered alive according to a banshee and therefore is not on the list.

What are your theories?

Dancing Mini-Groot Available

Hi Everyone,

I am sure that you are just like me and loved Guardians of the Galaxy. We all really loved the Mini-Groot at the end. I have been scouring the internet to find if they will be selling this item somewhere. Let's be honest, a Mini-Groot will pull in the money hand over fist. I even had a friend from work who is an awesome artist make me my own Mini-Groot that I will be putting in a flower pot soon.

I was happy to see that Hot Toys will be releasing a dancing Mini-Groot with the Rocket and Groot set. In order to get the Dancing Groot you have to pre-order and the set is scheduled to be released in March 2015. I thought I would pick the set up until I noticed the price tag of $359.99. So I will not be picking this up.

What are your thoughts on this set?

Movie Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

IMDB Storyline: Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O'Neil and her cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.

My Thoughts: Let me first say that this movie is not a bad movie. It is just not a movie that you should spend money on. I have always been a Turtles fan. I had the posters, action figures, played the video games, and quoted the movies. I was at first sad to hear that Michael Bay got his hands on another one of my childhood memories but I was willing to have an open mind. Then I realized that I was being foolish for getting my hopes up and after seeing this movie, I know that I was right in thinking that nothing good was going to come of this remake.

Spoiler Filled Rant:

My Gripes: Here is a list of problems I had with the movie. Megan Fox did not sell it as April O'Neil. She just was not believable. Plus they had her riding a bike through New York City which I did not believe. The writers wanted us to believe that as a child April ran into her father's lab to save the turtles and Splinter but left her father to die in the fire. What little girl will not be freaking out about her father dying? C'mon! This brings me into my next gripe. If the turtles and Splinter were raised in a lab then we miss out on all the background story of Splinter and Shredder. Now Splinter learned Ninjitsu from a book, are you serious! Ugh! Why does Splinter looked like a hairless rat. His whole look is wrong and down right creepy.

How can they make us believe that the turtles are teenagers. They are freakishly big. They are not believable. Also they apparently have super strength which allows them to throw shipping containers like they are soda cans. Plus they are able to tumble down a mountain and fly into Hummers and walk away from it. Oh and they can hold onto humans during this without the humans having a scratch on them. Really!!!

Spoiler Rant Done

The movie is rated PG13 but there was a violent fight that had a UFC feel to it without the blood. I would not recommend bringing the kids as it pushes the envelope with the violence. Overall I say do not pay for this movie. Check it out when it is on Netflix.

If you checked out the movie, what were your thoughts?
