Developer's Corner: 2Gamers

Tell me a little bit about your company and the founders?

2Gamers is created by family members with the same interests like video games. My brother-in-law, my sister, my brother, and I, are gamers but I have to admit we got to this point thanks to our sister. She discovered the magic of video games thanks to the Nintendo Wii, since then she was the one to push the most to make our dreams reality.

What made you decide to get into your field?

We all are gamers and share the same passion for games. I can say making games is the dream of every Gamer. We all have kept ideas for a perfect video game since we were little, so now it is easier than before to create.

What is the vision of your company? What do you hope to achieve?

Our vision make video games go back to the roots, make them FUN! We try to make games available for everyone. Games should be seen as one of the biggest entertainment forms.

What are your thoughts on the Gaming Industry and rise of the Indie Companies?

Gaming industry as a whole is on the path of crashing again, the cause - development cost. I believe the industry is getting back on track thanks to indie companies with their games making them available for everyone.

Tell us all about Catch the Baby?

It is a challenging game not doubt but fun in the same time we try to keep it simple; simplicity is genius. The idea came from watching my nephew. He is a baby of course, running away from my sister in the street and the desperate way she was trying to catch him.

Fangirl Thoughts:

I agree the game is quite challenging. When you play this type of game and you do not slam down your phone then it is not worth playing. I have gotten frustrated multiple times and quit to only come back again. I enjoy the colorful background of the game and I would recommend it for everyone's smart devices.

What is your website? Contact information?

Facebook: Catch the Baby
Email: edwin7combo@gmail.com

Fun questions time! What is your first memory of gaming?

Contra - NES

Favorite Video Game of all time?

Metroid Fusion GB advance

Additional Comments?

There is couples of games that as developer we should have in mind, games should be involved such as Zelda OOT (best game ever created in my opinion); Simple for everyone as Mario Bros - NES (I remember as a kid even my mom played); Fun like Smash Brother (OMG), and with solid systemtTech like the FOCUS-ATTACK on Street Fighter 4, (is a perfect tool to.balance the game between characters).
