Never has completing a marathon been so fun (and involved such minimal sweat!). You can even tap the Mario or Sonic amiibo figures (which are sold separately) to a New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL system (or to a Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL or Nintendo 2DS system using the Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader/Writer accessory) to boost your Mii character’s Mario or Sonic outfits with that character’s power for the day. First Look at Warzone Firefight in Halo 5: Guardians

Warzone Firefight is an ambitious new multiplayer experience that takes the initial promise of Halo 5’s Warzone multiplayer – the epic battles, incredible scale and huge maps – and applies that to create the biggest Halo cooperative experience ever in franchise history. In Warzone Firefight, up to eight players will work together to complete five rounds of increasingly difficult, dynamic objectives set against a timer to emerge victorious. Warzone Firefight will feature more enemies than ever – including a brand new tier of “Mythic” enemy bosses. Thought the Warden Eternal was menacing? You ain’t seen nothing yet. Warzone Firefight features the most on-screen enemies in the history of the franchise, making for frantic and exhilarating matches.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Warzone without the REQ System, and fans will be happy to hear that you’ll have full access to all of your weapons, vehicles, power-ups, armor mods and more in Warzone Firefight. Standard Assault Rifle not doing its job against a swarm of shielded Jackals? Why not deploy your Scourge of Fire Plasma Caster and melt your opponents? Having trouble against an enemy Banshee? Take to the skies in your own Phaeton! In Warzone Firefight, it won’t be enemy players that give you pause – it’ll be the hordes of angry Grunts.

Warzone Firefight is sure to be a fan favorite and Xbox can’t wait to team up and try it out themselves. With dynamic objectives making each game different, you can play thousands of matches before seeing the same objective combination. The prospect of teaming up with seven other players to take on a plethora of enemies using the REQ System has us all eagerly awaiting the release of Warzone Firefight this summer. Be sure to stay tuned to Halo Waypoint, Xbox Wire and follow the official Halo Twitter for all the latest Halo 5: Guardians Warzone Firefight news.

EAST OF WEST USHERS IN ITS SIXTH ARC

New York Times bestselling creative team Jonathan Hickman (THE MANHATTAN PROJECTS, THE DYING AND THE DEAD) and Nick Dragotta (HOWTOONS) will launch the sixth arc in their ongoing sci-fi western series EAST OF WEST this April.  Previously in EAST OF WEST, an impressive cavalcade of characters let loose their pawns in a cunning game of deception. Loyalties shifted, alliances were betrayed, old friends were murdered—all in service of, or to thwart, the Apocalypse.

In EAST OF WEST #25, the smashing conclusion of EAST OF WEST: YEAR TWO begins here. Witness the eventful last gathering of the Chosen before the Apocalypse begins. No one gets out alive!

“We’ve reached that wonderful part in the story where everything starts to go very, very wrong for everyone involved,” said Hickman. “And in a book that’s basically about the end of the world, I think we can promise only the most dramatic things for our characters.”

Dragotta added: “And visually, these are the really big scenes we’ve been building towards since the beginning of EAST of WEST. Not only do all of my favorite characters return, but the way in which they do so has been some of the most fun I’ve had drawing. Ever!”

EAST OF WEST #25 Cover A by Nick Dragotta hits stores Wednesday, April 20th. EAST OF WEST #25 Cover B by Jonathan Hickman will also be available Wednesday, April 20th.

Movie Review: Divergent Series: Allegiant

Storyline: The third installment of the blockbuster Divergent series franchise, ALLEGIANT takes Tris [Shailene Woodley] and Four [Theo James] into a new world, far more dangerous than ever before. After the earth-shattering revelations of INSURGENT, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.

Fangirl Thoughts: The movie Allegiant is visually stunning. The world outside of the Chicago Experiment is amazing and you really see how the world has ruined itself and is rebuilding. The movie does a great job in showing how the relationship between Four and Tris has evolved. I have enjoyed watching these two on the screen. The movie overall is good as the actors are great at fighting and coming together to defeat the next big bad.

You get to enjoy watching Caleb come into his own. Christina is awesome and Peter does what he does best. One of my issues is that you miss the connection of how some divergents were smuggled out of Chicago previously which truly adds to the story line.

My problem with the movie is that it does not give the hard hitting ending that the book did. Everything does not end up happy in the book. Spoiler: Tris sacrifices her life to stop the release of the gas. While the last book was very annoying to read at least the author was willing to take the risk in killing the main character. The movie could have done the same. I lost respect for the series because they were not willing to do that.

Overall check the movie out and let me know your thoughts.
