E3 2014: Microsoft Presentation

Hi Everyone,

Microsoft as the first presenter for E3 has come out swinging. Here at Fangirl we are hoping that everyone steps up to the plate. Microsoft presented some demos and trailers. I really enjoyed the amount of gameplay they presented. Personally I enjoy GamePlay the most when it comes to these type of presentations. I quickly become annoyed if all they show me is cut scenes and over the top trailers.

Halo 5: Guardians was a big presentation. We still do not have a release date but it will be some time next year. We also learned about the Master Chief collection which is a remastered version of previous Halos (Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4). The Halo 2 Multiplayer that was a fan favorite will be present and dedicated servers will be available. (Personally I am all about dedicated servers)

We got some great gameplay footage of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as well as Assassin's Creed: Unity. There were flashes of the new Tomb Raider, Dance Central, a dragon game - Scalebound, and a fighting game called, Phantom Dust. We saw some Forza Horizon 2, the new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Again with COD, Xbox One owners will get exclusive dibs before PS4 fans. We saw Fable Legends, Project Spark, Crackdown, and Sunset Overdrive. Xbox really pushed the games this time around.

Apparently this year Xbox will be focusing on listening to the fans and bringing a gaming experience for the gamer according to Xbox Head Phil Spencer. What did you think about the presentation?
