The series aired from October 24, 2014 to February 13, 2015, over 13 episodes. On May 8, 2015, NBC decided not to renew the series for a second season.

With a heavy heart and utter disappointment with NBC, that I announce the cancellation of Constantine. This show had potential to strike gold but under NBC it ever did. This show is definitely a runner up for a Netflix vehicle show after the success of adult theme rated mature Dare Devil but that’s a far stretch and possibly the only spell that Constantine doesn’t know when reviving the dead.  I enjoyed this show I mean let face it I’m a geek and I would have liked to have seen more seasons and some main street supporting cast from the successful comic book.

According to Wikipedia, John Constantine, a demon hunter and dabbling master of the occult, must struggle with his past sins while protecting the innocent from the converging supernatural threats that constantly break through to our world due to the "Rising Darkness". Balancing his actions upon the line of good and evil, Constantine uses his skills and a supernatural scry map to journey across the nation to send these terrors back to their own world, all for the hope of redeeming his soul from eternal torment

You can still catch Constantine in the comics... He was a main character in Gods of Injustice Year 3  comic series based on the video game. Its a must see with a great price. The digital downloads are 0.99 weekly.
