Minecraft Favorites Pack for Xbox One Available Soon at Retail!

If you haven’t had a chance to dig into Minecraft on Xbox One, we have something really great coming up that you will enjoy. Starting later this spring, we’ll be releasing a new option in retail stores for you to pick up for your collection – the “Minecraft: Xbox One Edition” Favorites Pack. The Favorites Pack, which has been available digitally since last fall, is a new purchasing option in addition to the standard “Minecraft: Xbox One Edition,” which is already out today. It includes the base “Minecraft: Xbox One Edition” game and seven of the best-selling add-on packs for you to play with, including:

• Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack
• Natural Texture Pack
• City Texture Pack
• Fantasy Texture Pack
• Festive Mash-up
• Halo Mash-up

These add-on packs are rich with content, bringing you over 120 choices of character skins and five different texture packs to apply to your Minecraft worlds to give them new looks, in addition to two mash-ups with which you can create new worlds themed from top to bottom including UI and in-game music. For folks playing “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition,” this is a great option to grab a collection of the most-loved content by the Minecraft community and enjoy the Xbox One Edition’s significantly bigger worlds, better resolution and a new set of over 1,000 possible Gamerscore. And don’t worry about losing your worlds from the Xbox 360 Edition – you can import them right into the Xbox One Edition and keep playing.

The “Minecraft: Xbox One Edition” Favorites Pack will be available for $29.99 USD or the local equivalent in retail stores on June 7th in Australia and New Zealand, and on June 21st in the rest of the world.
