Resurrection S2 Ep.1 "Revelation"

Recap: A week has passed since last season.  Agent Bellamy wakes up in a field alone.  He goes to the Langstons’ home and has no recollection of the last week.  He was apparently drugged and interrogated.  Some of the “Returned” are still with their families in Arcadia while others are have been taken away.  Rachael finds out she is having a boy and is actually four months along.  Some townspeople are still angry with Sheriff Langston for calling the military in.  Agent Bellamy decides to stay at Maggie’s house.  Jacob’s grandmother returns from the dead.

Maggie and Sheriff Langston argue.  Agent Bellamy and the sheriff fight a little.  The sheriff is clearly drunk.  Later, Henry calls Sheriff Langston to tell him their mother is back, but the sheriff says it’s not her and hangs up on him.  He continues to drink at the bar.  Later, Sheriff Langston’s mother stops him from shooting himself by smacking him a few times and making him admit that she is his “Ma.”

Agent Bellamy goes to meet his colleague Toni, but he sees some of the people that were interrogating him, so he flees.  He learns that Toni sold him out.  The woman that was chasing him is waiting for him at his apartment.  She asks him to spy on the “Returned” because they trust him.  He then remembers that he was killed by a gunshot wound during a struggle when he was being held captive.  The woman threatens to put him with the others if he refuses.  He is shocked that he is also one of the “Returned.”

Review: Nice premiere.  Agent Bellamy realizes he is one of the “Returned.”  Now we need to figure out when he died the first time.  Is he one of the Thompsons?

Looks like the Sheriff Langston had to get smacked around by “Ma” a few times to knock some sense into him.

I can't wait to see what other mysteries will be explained this season.  It seems like there will be a lot of focus on Agent Bellamy.  Overall, this was a good season premiere.
