NYCC: Square Enix

My first day as Press for NY Comic Con started off quite well. As I rode the train into New York City I was graced with an awesome train conductor who shamed the people speaking on their cell phones loudly. I also liked that when we made it to New York he signed off with "same bat time, same bat place". With that I knew that my day will be filled with great geek fun. They had the room set up in a cool little studio down the street from Comic Con. I could see the line from the entrance to the building. I was graced with an awesome array of food and drink when I walked in. Everyone at Square Enix were helpful and delightful to work with.

I had the chance to play Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris as well has Hitman Sniper. The videos are now posted on my YouTube which can be found here: Fangirl Review YouTube The Lara Croft game played smoothly. We were able to have four players during our demo. Each of us picked a character who each have different powers that becomes essential at some parts. Hitman Sniper was also a great game. I was surprised how well it translated into a mobile game. I actually was decent playing it the first time around.

Overall this was a great start to my New York Comic Con experience as press. The following titles from Square Enix were available for review: Hitman Sniper, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Life is Strange, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix, Dragon Quest Series (I, II, III, IV) and Final Fantasy Type-O HD.
