At the Game Awards 2015, we celebrated a great year in gaming and premiered a host of new content for Xbox players. A quick rundown below if you didn’t watch The Game Awards:
- For “Halo 5: Guardians,” we revealed initial details about the next free update, “The Cartographer’s Gift,” which adds the biggest and most improved Forge mode ever, brand-new multiplayer maps, more than 30 new REQs for armors, weapons, emblems and more. - For “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” we shared a first look at “Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch,” the all-new downloadable content coming in early 2016 which expands the story of the game’s main campaign. - For “Quantum Break,” Shawn Ashmore, who plays the main protagonist Jack Joyce, was present onstage to reveal a new trailer with never-before seen content captured all in-game. - We also announced that the popular “soccer-meets-driving” hit, “Rocket League” from Psyonix, will officially arrive on Xbox One in February 2016 via ID@Xbox. Two Xbox One-exclusive Battle-Cars are included: the Halo "HogSticker," an alternate version of the famous Warthog Force Application Vehicle, and the Gears of War "Armadillo," an Armored Personnel Carrier.
