Sons of Anarchy Season 6, Ep. 4 “Wolfsangel”

Episode starts with Unser and his medical marijuana as he gets pulled out of his trailer by some goons. Poor Unser can he catch a break, isn’t the cancer enough. Tig lets Jax know that something is going down with Clay with Pope’s people. Tig wonders if he was set up with Pope’s people. Cops are taking in Niro’s car in connection to the dead chick. It’s a shame that he was set up like that by the US Marshall. Jax speaks to Pope Jr. and he is surprised that Tig is alive and Clay has protection inside. Looks like Pope Jr. wants in on the gun business. Gemma is the one that finds Unser with his body all carved up. Unser does not really know who they were but Tara saves the day by stitching him up. They are looking at the Nazis. Another charter stops by to let him know that they are turning down the gun deal and Jax finds out about the dead girl. Geez the hits keep coming for Jax. 

Unser brings up a great point about how the kids could have been there and Gemma yells out that they are her kids. It makes Tara look at her like she is crazy. Wendy is playing a game and lets Gemma know that Tara drew up some more papers. Wendy is playing Gemma about her concerns for the boys. Turns out that Wendy is working for Tara. This is beyond awesome. 

Chibs has a talk with Jax about him making some big decisions without bringing it to the table. Jax points out that he is trying to save the MC from themselves and Chibs calls him a Clay Jr. US Marshall is talking to the DA about the dead girl and she points out he needs to flip Clay as soon as possible. He brings him to see Otto and he slips him a shank. I wonder if Otto will kill himself or someone else. Niro is being interviewed by the sheriff and points out the craziness of the US Marshall. I still cringe thinking about what he did to those guys' teeth. 

The crew pays a visit to Darby for info. Darby does give him the intel about the Nazis. Darby does not want to be involved in any shape or form but the threat is there so he knows he has to help the MC. Tig has to infiltrate the Nazis, this should be funny. He tries to do a southern accent but it is horrible. Of coarse they find Juice and Darby. Things go south for a minute and they kidnap the bad guys to help make a smooth exit. Jax has to deal with those Irish jerks. Jax refuses the guns. Small fight but Jax is standing strong that he does not want the guns. The sheriff sees the evidence of the dead chick and knows that something is off and requests the US Marshall’s file. Despite the shadiness of this sheriff, he is smart and that is good. 

Nooooo!!! Phil!!!!!

The Irish kill Phil like its nothing at the warehouse. They are starting something that will have ripples through the whole club. How dare they kill Phil!!!! Jax arrives at the warehouse and find his guys all chopped up and hands on their jacket. All because Jax said hands off on his crew. Jax decides to destroy the Nazis with the KG9s and place them in the house and burn the house down. It an awesome set up in my opinion. 

That US Marshall cannot help but to visit with poor Otto again. He tries to get him to flip on Clay. Otto uses the shank and stabs the Marshall. I must admit I did do a little dance. End Sequence: Otto slices the marshal's neck and is killed by the guards. Tara is treating Unser. SAMCRO burns the bodies of the dead crew members. Niro and Gemma are putting the boys to bed. The DA comes in and checks the body of the Marshall. 

My Thoughts: Geez these hour and a half long shows are going to do me in. I swear if they go to three hour long shows I am done. Me and my DVR cannot handle it! Jax needs not to trust Pope Jr., he is running a whole different type of game. I think Jax is walking a dangerous line as he already lost one VP and he is pushing it to the point that he may lose another with Chibs. He is so determined to save the club he might end up having to destroy it and rebuild it to make it better. The love between Niro and Gemma is good. I believe it helps make Gemma a better person but she needs to learn some boundaries. I appreciate that Tara is handling her business when it comes to her kids. She is an old lady and does what needs to be handle. This mess with the Irish just went to a whole other level. The death of Phil was horrible and just disrespectful. How dare they do that to the MC.? Another great episode, I wonder what is next for the club.

Smash Bros: Sonic & Toon Link

New characters have been announced for the much anticipated Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. 

Sonic is making his comeback to the new installment of Smash Bros. 

Sonic is the fastest character in the game, in regards to movement speed (fastest dash speed, sixth fastest air speed, and very fast rolls). Sonic's relatively small hitboxes and lack of a projectile means that he must stay close to the opponent in order to attack, but his aforementioned speed helps this problem. His ability to spinshot allows him to quickly bypass the effects of most projectile campers, and his side special can  cancel out the effects of certain projectiles, such as Snake's C4. His tremendous running speed, combined with his Spin Charge special, Spring Jump, and down air give him excellent follow up ability on pretty much every character.

Toon Link falls under the archetype of a small but nimble character. Toon Link also has the ability to wall jump. His attacks generally have decent range. Toon Link's aerial game and overall mobility is superb. His best KO move is his up smash, but it is predictable. His tether grab has decent range. He has a decently powerful and ranged game due to having 3 projectiles and a grab aerial, as well as a shield to automatically block most other projectiles while standing in a stationary position.

So now that we have this announcement, who do you think is next? Also who do you think will not make it to the new installment. 

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Ep. 2 “0-8-4”

The episode starts out with a hole in the plane then goes to 19 hours before this occurs. I always enjoy when they back track. Skye has officially joined the team. Ward apparently is against Skye and truly believes she is a risk. After being called in for an 0-8-4; they are not sure what it means just that is an object of unknown origin. Apparently the last one was a hammer…..Thor’s hammer.  May and Ward see Fitz, Skye, and Simmons as dead weight because they are not trained. It is a shame they do not see the benefits of others. Coulson is very flippant about his death, it will be interesting to see when he realizes that he has been cloned and that he really did die.

Team is off to Peru to check out the object. Apparently an old ruin has an object that is not of the appropriate origin. It apparently has been there for 1500 years. It looks pretty cool, all blue and glowy. Ward and May are outside guarding the ruins. It is fun to see them kicking butt but they are quickly surrounded. Turns out Coulson knows the military lady, Camilla Reyes. Simmons and Fitz speak their cute science talk leaving Skye out. I like that Skye has the knowledge of the land about the rebels. Ward just loves attacking Skye but I am sure they will end up together. Rebels attack and Ward rips the item out of the wall as they make a run for it. Coulson and Reyes look good together fighting. They all make a run for it and it is a pretty impressive fight overall especially for just a tv show. Apparently the object is giving off gamma radiation. Coulson apologizes to May for putting her in a combat situation. I wonder if we will ever get her full story.

The scientists are handling the object very carefully. Ward has the nerve to talk down to Fritz. He iis coming of as a jerk. Ward throws around his specialist credentials and Coulson lists everyone’s credentials and how they are essential on the team. Fitz and Simmons find out that the object is a weapon or more clearly a laser that can melt through anything. Skye is trying to smooth things with Ward via drinks and convo. She really believes in the rebel uprising and this gives Ward a chance to see her as more. See....love connection just waiting to happen.

In my opinion Coulson is talking to Reyes too much. A pretty lady can get a man to talk very easily. Coulson does see through the act quickly. Ward sees that the other military guys are acting and can tell something is off. Fight time! May is knocked out by gas and they are all quickly taken over. Apparently they made the weapon and they want to use it to crush the rebel uprising. May dislocates her wrist to get untied. It was pretty badass! Reyes is doing the typical bad guy move of talking Coulson to death. This is a little trite and boring to be honest and feels too super hero cliche. 

The team comes together to take out Reyes. Fitz releases a drone and makes the object detonate causing the huge hole in the plane. Coulson is hanging from the beam and Ward comes though for more fight sequence. The others try to find the object while May gets control of the plane. Coulson again pulls the typical hero by trying to save the girl. *deep eye roll* May has her fight and gets control of the plane. Skye sees the flight safety pamphlet directions, grabs the raft, inflates it, and it flies up blocking the hole and saving Ward. Another *deep eye roll*. The object will be slingshotted to the sun. Ward is talking positive about Skye and May says she will need a supervising agent to help train her.  Everyone steps up to say it was all their ideas for blasting the hole into the plane. 

The team is all together watching the blast off. Skye receives a text message from her crew and states she is in. Is she working as a double agent? Uh oh! I hope with future episodes they will dial back the level of cliches but overall a fun episode. Yay Nick Fury! Samuel L. Jackson is there and he is on the plane complaining about the destruction! He is so awesome. I am waiting for him to say snakes on the plane. Fury points out that Skye is a risk and asks about the car. Jackson makes the episode worth it.  

Valve Steam Controller

Valve Steam Controller has been officially announced. The controller features two circular trackpads

As explained by Valve, "Driven by the player’s thumbs, each one has a high-resolution trackpad as its base. It is also clickable, allowing the entire surface to act as a button. The trackpads allow far higher fidelity input than has previously been possible with traditional handheld controllers. Steam gamers, who are used to the input associated with PCs, will appreciate that the Steam Controller’s resolution approaches that of a desktop mouse."

Resonant actuators, small, strong, weighted electro-magnets are attached to each of the dual trackpads. Allow precise control over frequency, amplitude, and direction of movement. The center of the controller also has a touch screen, which Valve calls "critical to supporting all games in the Steam catalog.

Sleepy Hollow ep. 3 "For the Triumph of Evil"

Abby is called in and realizes Crane is interrogating a suspect. It turns out that the suspect is her younger self being interrogated but it is all a dream. Quite freaky I must say. Crane is creeping around with the whole all white eyes. Abby wakes up. They are called in to find a woman on a ledge who says she has been talking to Abby’s sister. The woman falls but turns out she is the doctor from Abby’s freaky dream. Crane, Abby, and the Chief check out the body and the all white eyes explode. Ewww…

Crane and Abby are watching the video of Jenny’s interview. Turns out the doctor that took the header treated Jenny and it may all be connected. I enjoy that Abby is always trying to question if things are real. Crane lets her know that the monster must be afraid of her and her sister and that it is time that she speaks to her sister. Jenny refuses to see her sister. Crane is however able to get in to see her. Crane comes out swinging about seeing the demon and that the doctor killed herself. Jenny starts to question some things when Crane tells her everything. Apparently something major went down between Abby and her sister. I guess Abby kept to herself her crazy and let her sister take the fall.

Crane is really trying hard to get Abby to open up about the fall out with her sister. Apparently Jenny talked about everything that happened in the woods and Abby refused to speak about it. Jenny ends up being taken away. It comes out that Abby and Jenny were in a foster home. I bet you there is a whole story behind her parents that may help explain her supernatural abilities.

Crane and Abby are on their way to see the man that found them in the woods but looks like he is about to be killed. The rancher has his wife at gun point and asks to speak with Abby. She actually goes into the home by herself. I feel this is breaking all kinds of protocol. The rancher has the all white eyes. The monster causes the rancher to shoot and he informs her that the sandman is coming for her the next time she falls asleep, she is dead. He then takes his life with his gun. Crane points out that Abby is standing removed from everyone.

They constantly hang out in the archive. I guess this is their watch tower. They find a book about a dream demon and Crane again knows about this mysterious monster. He heard of a fairy tale from Native Americans basically saying to take care of thy neighbor. Essentially Abby did not help her sister and is now going to pay for it. Crane is very upset to hear that Native Americans were all bur killed off. They visit a used car salesmen and says he is unable to help them. Crane is able to guilt trip the man about how he has to help or he will be next. Abby has to drink a magical blue juice that looks like Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade. Abby has to fight in the dream world and can die in it. Crane takes a swig and plans on taking the psychedelic ride with Abby but they must be stung by scorpions first.

They are both in the dream world and Abby meets the demon quickly and Crane finds a red door. Abby has to relive the moment she betrayed her sister. Abby finally admits to seeing the monster in the woods and betraying her sister. She is able to defeat the sandman by being honest and turning him to glass.

The chief shows up to see them in the archive. He says as long as everything is over he does not need to hear the details. Crane further motivates Abby to see her sister. Abby shows up to see her sister and of coarse she is gone through a passage in the ceiling. I still question what side the chief is on but I guess we will find out in the end. 

Xbox One Tour

Hey Everyone, 

It is true! Xbox one is doing a multi-city, multi-country tour. This give you the chance to play the Xbox One before the launch date of Nov. 22. Starting October 1st Xbox will stop through 75 different cities through out the world. 

The "Area One" tour will let people in the US, Canada, and Europe see the Xbox One, while the "Test Drive" tour will let people have hands-on gameplay. 

“Area One” will bring a large traveling tour to many markets around the world, including Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Vienna, Paris and Berlin. Xbox fans will be among the first to get their hands on the upcoming blockbuster games coming to Xbox One, including hotly anticipated titles like “Forza Motorsport 5,” “Ryse: Son of Rome,” “Killer Instinct,” “Dead Rising 3,” “Crimson Dragon,” “Max: Curse of the Brotherhood,” “LocoCycle” and more.

Attendance is free of charge, space will be limited and you must be 18 years of age or older.
