Lego Marvel Super Heroes: First Impressions

Hey Everyone,

I had a chance to play Lego Marvel Super Heroes so I am ready to share my thoughts of the game. Sadly my gameplay video is not awesome so I will just share pictures and appropriate gameplay that I find.

Video Game Plot: Lego Marvel Super Heroes is an action-adventure video game that is developed by TT Games and is published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. The game features gameplay that alternates between various action-adventure sequences and puzzle-solving scenarios.

The game begins when the Silver Surfer, herald to Galactus, is knocked out of the sky with his surfboard shattering into several 'Cosmic Bricks' that fall onto the Earth. With these blocks containing immense power, Doctor Doom gets together a band of villains to make the "Dr. Doom's Doom Ray of Doom" (how awesome is that name). However, S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury calls upon the superheroes of the Marvel Universe to retrieve these blocks before they get captured by other villains such as Loki and Magneto.

The gameplay is very similar to previous games like Lego Batman 2 and Lego Star Wars. In this installment the characters do talk and sound similar to the actor that plays them. Nick Fury sounds very much like Samuel L. Jackson the same can be said for Ironman sounding like Robert Downey Jr. The visuals are what you expect for a Lego installment but overall it is a visually clean game.

I noticed that in this version the gameplay is a little more difficult then usual. At times you will find yourself wandering aimlessly around before your stumble upon the correct switch. It also was a little annoying at times when you will find yourself having to line up the camera just right to shoot down a bridge. At one point at had to make all the characters stand on one side of the screen to get the angle just right. Overall a good installment in the series. Pick it up and check it out.
